Review: Dear Mr. R[redacted]
What is needed to earn this AA degree? So that I can move on to earn my BA at another institution; I recently had to drop out of classes at [redacted] University that was willing to provide me with a scholarship to finish my education; this was because Potomac College would not release my transcripts. Stating I owe money for taking a leave of absence which the paperwork was improperly filled out to appear as though I dropped out of school. Moreover, this has happened twice to me while attending Potomac College which has now changed their name to University of Potomac. I recently spoke with several people in reference to finishing my BA degree and what is needed to finish that degree. I have also pointed out that my employer also assist with education. The one credit that is needed should not be needed because I should be able to retake any classes that were paid for; as I requested before; but I was told Potomac College did not receive student loans for me in 2013. However, I received a 1099 form that states approx. 13,000 dollars was received by Potomac College towards my education. I am really becoming frustrated at this time and need information about my education with Potomac College. Am I being told at this point that there was not an audit on my profile and I will not be able to complete my BA degree at Potomac College?Desired Settlement: I need for Potomac College/ University to work with me in finishing my degree or return the money to the Federal Student Loans in my behalf. I have tried to email Diana D[redacted] to find out other alternatives to obtain my education or credit for being dropped out of school during a Leave of absence or how to apply the money paid by federal student loan towards other class or simply re-take the class ? I have even provided Potomac College the application needed to request tuition assistance from my employer but need to know where I stand with Potomac College or if I will be given my transcripts to continue my education at another institution.
