I would like to thank the business manager for their prompt response to this matter but it unfortunately does not resolve my issues with the bill. The main issue that I had was that I was told when I made the appointment that $200.00 would cover the entire first...
visit and any subsequent visits thereafter. They were aware of the insurance that I had and aware that it was for fracture care upon scheduling the initial appointment. When I called to ask why the bill was so high, I was told that I must not have told them it was for fracture care when I make the appointment, which I did, as most doctor's office's ask what the appointment is in regards to prior to scheduling. It could have been a simple mistake by the person that I made the appointment with, but had I known the actual cost would be almost $500.00, I would have sought treatment elsewhere or considered other options that were more affordable.
