University Park Apartments

In follow up to [redacted]'s complaint [redacted]. I attached a copy of the letter that is put above the mailbox in each breezeway at least 2 days before the [redacted] Pest Control inspection. The announcement is also in the monthly newsletter.  We take the issue of pests very seriously and...

each apartment renter must have their items prepared for the inspections, as University Park has 224 apartments.  It is essential that each apartment be prepared for inspection. If the resident is not prepared they access a $25.00 fee. 
Rent is due on the first of each month, with a five day grace period. Rent may also be paid before the first of the month. We take checks, money orders and debit/cards for rent payment. We have a night drop that residents may put their check or money in while the office is closed.  July 2014 is when Mr., [redacted] was late. Our office was closed on July 4th holiday. It is also closed every Saturday & Sunday. I apologize that the card reader was not working on the day that Mr. [redacted] tried to pay rent with his card. But he may have paid with a check or money order and avoided the late fee.
