I left a clean and empty room when I moved out. They sent me pictures of someone else's dirty room and a mattress that wasn't mine demanding money. I moved into this apartment in August 2015 and moved out July 6, 2016. I have had problems with move out bills before at previous apartments, so I made sure to leave my room empty and clean. I wiped down every inch of the bathroom with Clorox and vacuumed and dusted my entire room. I got a bill at the end of August for my roommates bedroom downstairs (I lived upstairs). They tried to force me to pay for her dirty room because they said they had no proof I was living in the upstairs bedroom (which they did). Finally they sent me the statement for my room and the bill was over $100. They charged me for a mattress that was left in the room, a dirty bathroom, and multiple other things. They sent me pictures of "my room", which obviously was someone else's room, because the layout of the room in the pictures was different than the room I had lived in. I have my own mattress when I moved out with me and have now in my current apartment. They refuse to take these charges off of my account because they claim they have no "proof" that the mattress does not belong to me. They are scamming me and I know they are doing the same to other people that have moved out. This company sent me pictures of a room that was not even mine and is demanding money from me to pay for stuff that was not even in my room.Desired SettlementI want these absurd charges removed from my account because they do not belong to me.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted]Contact Phone: XXXXXXXXXXContact Email: [redacted]@universitysuitesapts.comWe sincerely apologize for the accounting and administrative error.
