My son asked University View Apartments how to make sure friends of four can stay in same room before he and I cosigned the apartment lease contract for his UMD school year 2018-We followed what the apartment management people said, signed the lease contract on November 21, and then sent a roommate request formThe next day, we received the lease confirmationAfter that, we called in March and May for room information and were told they will let us know later
On July 12, 2018, my son heard from his friends that they got their room assignment but all in different roomsHe called the apartment for his room assignment the next day, and on July he finally got his room assignedUnfortunately, he and his friends are separated

I am rejecting this response because: The response from the operations manager said "The disputed amount is 172.50 which was reduced to 63.75."  This is not correct.  The gentleman only offered to reduce the disputed amount to $108.25 (172.00 - 63.75 = 108.25).  I believed a full refund of $172.00 was warranted, but operations management only agreed to refund $63.75.  However, if operation's management does agree to refund $108.25 instead of $63.75, I'll accept the response.
