University Village tried to rectify the situation by giving [redacted] the opportunity to transfer units. University Village went over the transfer process outlined in the lease with her. University Village Management explained that she could transfer units if she desired to do so, and that there would be a transfer fee assessed to her in the amount equal to one month's rent. At that time she chose not to do this. University Village also explained that she could sublet for the remainder of her lease term as well, and this is what [redacted] chose to do.
The sublet fee of $440 that [redacted] was assessed is equal to one rental installment, as stated in the lease agreement. Unfortunately, this is not going to be refunded to [redacted] as she has requested.
