I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. We have contacted UnLeash Solar on 3-25-2014 to inform them we were having a wind storm with rain forecast and that parts of our roof were still being blown off and some parts landing in the trees.  We also contacted them again through their employee [redacted] and let him know about the problem and that it was raining on our exposed roof causing further damage on 3-27-2014.  He stated he would know more when he went into the office.  We called again and ask for the outcome, left our cell number for the company to contact us as we were out of town but no response.  We said we would be available 3-30-2014 and everyday for a week to give them the opportunity to comply with the City Of Palmdale inspection process.  Also we requested the name and address of their insurance company to contact Western Pacific Roofing to repair the roof damage per our contract with them.
At this time we have received no response from them.
Sincerely,

Review: We had a solar system installed by Unleash Solar over 4 months ago that has not preformed to the stated, promised functionality of the system. Tried to give them plent of time, 2 and half months, to resolve, fix, the malfuntioning Solar System. Keep on getting appointments for someone to come out and fix it and nobody ever shows up. Paid $26,200 for a solor system that was promised to produce on average 1100Kwh per month that is only producing 150Kwh per month. The system installed is a 27 panel 6.75Kwh system.Desired Settlement: System to work properly and get fixed in a timely manner, payment for electric bill that has been accumilating since they have not fixed system

Review: I contracted with Unleash Solar to install a solar system on our home in September 2013 for an agreed amount. There was no money paid down as agreed. The entire amount was to be paid upon completion of the job. However , Unleash Solar personnel began to request full payment upon completion of the panels installation. So I paid them the agreed to full payment. This was done on 9/24/13, with the understanding Unleash Solar would return the next week to start the inspection process. Since then, to my knowledge, there have been four inspections and three of the four failed final inspections. Now it appears that Unleash Solar has abandoned the project. They do not respond to my phone calls or my e-mails.Desired Settlement: We, my wife and I obtained a loan to purchase this system. We have been making monthly installment payments on the loan. The solar system is to help us with our electric bill but it is not operating yet. Unleash Solar offered to pay a one time payment of $150 as a token of help. Since this a unresolved issue I believe it would be only fair that they pay $150 a month to us until the system is up and running. One final request of Unleash Solar, please treat this as priority one.

Response:

Ms. [redacted]:

The consumer's Revdex.com complaint indicates "the entire amount was to be paid

upon completion of the job."

This is incorrect. Attached hereto is Unleash Solar's standard consumer

contract. Section 9 therein provides "Balance of system due upon completion

of installation by Unleash Solar installation team."

Installation was completed by Unleash Solar technicians and payment was

made, as agreed to.

After a solar system is installed, both the local utility (ie electric

company) and the local city inspector must inspect and pass the system for

it to be turned on. Those inspections, and the timing of them, is fully

controlled by the local city inspector's office and the local utility

company. Both of these entities are strict and each city's inspector is

different.

Yes, more than one inspection needed to occur because the local city and/or

utility wanted to see changes. However, whenever one of our systems does

not pass inspection we make the corrections and schedule a new inspection.

The same happened for Mr. [redacted]: inspector said change X and we changed X and

rescheduled inspection. The system, currently, has passed final inspection.

In short, Unleash Solar has complied with the terms of the agreement

entered into with Mr. [redacted].

Regards,

Review: Unleash solar started work on our residence on 10-21-13, as of today work is not completed, 8 of the microinverters are not working from day one and one is not connected. they reordered 8 microinverters from Enphase per warranty and used some where else. This is evidenced from enphase monitoring system.

Unleash solar are not communicating with us , are not answering our phone calls , and finally on 8-26-15, I received a text message, " your solar system is fully operational "with out putting a step on my property and with out replacing any faulty microinverters.

I has been 2 years when the work was started, it is still incomplete, having production issues, I have not seen a dime change in my electric bill , I had paid them about $19,000 balance about 2,000remains unpaid and is to be paid after completion of workDesired Settlement: resolve the complaint with a sense of urgency by hiring a third neutral party licensed contractor. I want a operational functional solar system that produces energy.

I have got inspection done by 3 independent licensed contractors and seen faulty connections and junction boxes, poorly anchored on the roof. I can not trust their workmanship any more

Review: This company sold me a "recalled" converter for my solar system. For six months I have been contacting them trying to get this resolved. Each time (9) they tell me that they will re-contact me, but they never do. Now the owner, [redacted], refuses to answer my calls. I have even tried going to the business without any success.Desired Settlement: I want the defective and re-called unit replaced as is required by law.

Review: I have a contract for Unleash Solar to install PV system on my roof. They were fully paid on this contract in late July. To date, however, they have not completed the job despite several requests on my part to do so. Specifically, they are contractually bound to install a web monitoring module and have not yet installed it. They are extremely unprofessional in their dealings with me, post payment. Prior to payment they were good, post payment they are horrible.Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation)

I want them to complete the contract and install the module. I also want them to understand that this is not a proper way of running a business.
