He told my car was fixed but had to buy a 1200$ part which I knew , because I did my research , was under 400$ so towed the car ho me put the part on only to find out that not only was the wiring not fixed but was now worse than before..","neg-1

Took care in for one issue and service was done and still have problem. Paid for and not fixedMy son brought in his car, a late model [redacted], purple in color. When stopping/breaking car will cut off. They performed a sensor check and replaced a sensor that they said didn't really need replacing but though it would fix problem. Not within 24 hours car started to perform as why I took in. Mr. [redacted] then had the car for an additional 4 days as he said that the problem was in gas tank and needed to be treated. He added treatment to car and would drive when he could, stating the gas needed to be burned out. I check ed on car and questioned as well as my son's father. We picked up the car with the same issue as taking it in. Mr. [redacted] said to run the gas out and do another treatment and see how that goes. As I questioned him he said a new tank would be around $210 and pump $300 plus 3 to 4 hours in labor which is $75 a hour. Desired SettlementI would like a refund of the money we paid as to it was suppose to fix the problem and we are still with out car with the same problem. We have taken our personal cars there in the past and one reason we recommended our son go there. However after this and the demeanor of Mr. [redacted]'s business ethics I don;t see us returning or recommending anymore.

I was charged for electrical vehicle repair work, but the electrical system that was supposed to be repaired is still not working. Took 1992 [redacted] Wagon to Unlimited Auto Service, Inc. the week of April 28th. Vehicle was picked up 5-2-14 and I was charged $693.27 for: 1. repair of a water leak, coolant leak by tightening the hose clamps 2. tightened engine valve covers and transmission pan gasket bolts 3. Changed oil filter and repaired dipstick 4. Put WD 40 on brake peddle to stop sticking and repaired brake light switch 5. Aired up tires and put valve stem extenders on them. 6. Unjammed drivers side door lock so that it worked manually.7. Disconnected one radio speaker. 8. Added refrigerant to A/C. 9. Said that automatic door locks, overhead light, rear window release were working but they were not. He replaced the fuse with a larger fuse which made them work a short while but it shorted out again, the fuse blew and the systems no longer worked. I called him on 5-5-14 and he said he could take the car back in on 5-7-14. I took the car back to him on 5-7-14 and he told me he would fix the problem at no additional charge. When I went to pick the car up on 5-9-14, he said there would be additional charge because he had to purchase a door lock switch and acuater motor. He charged me an additional $202.11. When I got the vehicle home, locks, etc. worked a couple of times, but by 5-10-14, the fuse had blown again and systems stopped working. He did not fix the problem and charged me more as well. I would like a refund for my $202.11 and part of the original bill that involved the electrical repair. In the original bill he charged me for 7 hours of labor at $70 per hour for a total of $490. This seems to be much more than the time required for these minor repairs. That and the fact that the electrical system was never fixed should warrant a refund of about half of that amount. What is really bad is that he tried to deceive me into thinking the electrical system was repaired when it was not. He most likely just replaced the fuse again the 2nd time, just enough for it to work a few times so it would appear repaired when I picked up the car. I dealt with [redacted] for this work. The repairs were paid for by check both times.Desired SettlementI would like at least a refund of my $202.11 which I got nothing for as well as a fair portion of the original bill for the electrical work that was never satisfactorily completed. I am going to have to get this repaired somewhere else.
