Unlimited Distance Transportation

Please do not use this company to move your car! They will scam you out of so much time and money. I was given a quote of $875 and ended up paying $1,450 because a driver was basically holding my car hostage.

I paid the $150 deposit, but the day my car was supposed to be moved, no one showed up, even though we told them that the car needed to be picked up that day as we were moving the following morning. We had to leave the car with a friend to be picked up within the following days. Finally, the car is picked up and brought to a garage. I paid $300 to have it released to the new driver, however, it is still kept there for THREE DAYS. Whenever I tried to communicate with the new driver to figure out when he was planning to pick the car up from the garage, he got angry and yelled, telling me that I was "giving him stress." A total of 6 days later, he calls me to say that I need to have $1000 in cash or he will not bring me the car. He also tries to get me to meet him in an isolated parking lot at 6 AM to do the drop-off. When I finally get the car back, it smells strongly of urine and some fixtures (such as the radio) no longer work.

The entire time this was happening, the representatives from Unlimited Distance Transportation did nothing to help, even though I spoke with them countless times. At times, they were just completely unresponsive. Totally unprofessional.

I am putting this review on every site I can find. I want to help other people not fall into the same trap I did. There are so many good and reliable companies that will help you move your car. Please do not use this one!

The company tried to make me pay more for their services after a signed contract was completed. They stated a refund for my deposit would be issued but they are no longer making contact with me and have not issued the refund.

I had to ship a vehicle from NC to GA after separtion from my wife. So I put my info in an online registry and no sooner than I could sit back in my chair, several companies began calling, emailing, and texting me. Being military, moving around the country nothing new. I began working with a gentleman by the name of Alan at UDT. He gave me a more than fair price, and treated me very professionally. Even though COVID-19 issues were arising (which caused a few snags), the team at UD transporation came through and got my old project car back to me in perfect timing.
I stated that with having car projects where sometimes the best deal is out of state, I will need a transport team. UD Transporations will get my first call everytime.
