The company said they don't charge night/wkend.The est. they gave was $190 to replace supply line.It was night and we did it.Found it should be $80.Date: 1/24/2015Invoice:XXXXXXXXReplaced supply line. Provided supply line as he said, if I don't it's extra $35.He charged $190 for the service which took him only 25mins. It was not done properly the first time as he started to leave without testing.Employee was also drunk when he was in out facility. He also forgot to cover his footwear at when we told him after the fix water was not flowing. He worked on it and he broke the flushing unit and told us that we need to replace as it's getting old.We asked him to leave.Desired SettlementRefund us for the supply line and damage to flushing unit.Business Response /[redacted]/The customer submitted a complaint to us via email. We responded to him with the following email:Dear Mr. [redacted]We do not charge extra for nights or weekend work. You were provided a free quote. You approved that quote and told the technician to proceed with the job. When you say that the technician was only there for 20 minutes, you have failed to include the time you were at Lowes. You state that you called other plumbers and that they quoted you only $80. I am not sure what job they are quoting $80 for, but I want to let you know exactly what we did on this job:Had to Cut Copper PipeCut and Removed the Water Supply Line (Broken)Removed and Replaced the Angle Stop (Broken)Replaced the Water Supply Line (You provided)We appreciate your business,[redacted] Office ManagerMr. [redacted] has also failed to tell you that we gave him a $40 discount because he provided an internet coupon. He was only charged $150.In response to the client's desired resolution:we can't refund him for the supply line because the client purchased it.The client did not initially complain about damage to the flushing unit. He was only complaining about the charges. Now that he has contacted the Revdex.com, this has been brought up.Our tech could not have been drunk, as he does not even drink alcohol. In regards to the complaint about the tech not wearing booties, he did not have a complaint that he had an issue with any stains....I believe that if the client had told the other plumbing companies exactly what needed to be fixed, he would come up with a much higher price. This is exactly why we don't provide estimates over the phone. We believe this client does not deserve a refund as his toilet is now working properly. A refund would mean that he got the work done for free.Consumer Response /[redacted]/The company technician is not recalling his activity properly. I have mentioned that when he came to the house, he was drunk but we had no choice at such a time since our water supply will not be available without the fix.He removed the broken water supply line and replaced the angle stop and water supply line. He told us the $150 covers parts and services. But he did not have a supply line and I was at LOWES at that time and I did buy a supply line and also the flushing unit. I wanted to replace it at some point to save water. There is no way my unit was broken if not why did I ask him only to replace the supply line and the angle stop. Here is what happened. He left after fixing the supply line and angle stop. He did not test if the water was flowing to the tank. So, I turn on the water supply to the tank. No water came out of it. As he was leaving, my wife ran out and called him. He came into our house in a hurry without his shoe cover, tried to work on it by loosening and tightening some screen. At the point, his hand slipped and he broke the flush. There is no reason for me to lie about this incident. We are very reasonable family and appreciate people hard work. If something unfair has been done, I would like to highlight such unethical practices so that other people who use your services in the future are aware of it.My reason for going with your company was based on Revdex.com and google reviews.
