Unlimited Production, LLP Reviews (3)

I am rejecting this response because: unsubstantiated claims by builder concerning submitted problems #& # Please see all recently emailed documents (pictures, emails, and bills). As reported, Unlimited Production is again ONLY referencing the 1st leak (per their attorney letter, submitted) AND NOT the 2nd moisture leak (problem #3) as documented in [redacted] s write-up We are seeking compensation for 2nd leak area as it was directly above UP's frame-in/roof patch (please reference the new wood, insulation, and light in RR's write-up) It's indisputably their work and not "two rooms away" We would like to formally request UP's roof experts document AS well as pictures As you will see, they will not be able to provide the detailed exterior and interior pictures for problem #as in [redacted] 's write-up To be clear, we are not seeking compensation for problem #(1st leak), only the 2nd leak If Unlimited Productions had contacted us directly instead of through their attorney, they would have been advised of this In addition, all claims purporting Eli or Chuck advised of shingles or roof issues were not made We would ask UP provide time-stamped proof of these claims. For problem #4, the bedroom wall, please again reference submitted photos UP was contracted to build our bedroom wall knowing full well that the [redacted] closet was to be mounted to it Before a denial, further proof of their knowledge that the closet was to be attached there is the custom light outlet Furthermore, there is a 2-inch gap between our bed and the wall, so it doesn't touch This is clearly installation error Is it wear and tear to have these problems by using one's closet? I hope not for Revdex.com-listed company. My initial complaint resolutions stand:Compensation for 50% of roof billRepair of our bedroom wallProof of Warranty, Insurance, and State Licenses 2013-presentIf no resolution by UP, take necessary actions to document these issues and add warranty warning.Thank you for your time

I am rejecting this response because: unsubstantiated claims by builder concerning submitted problems #3 & #4.  Please see all recently emailed documents (pictures, emails, and bills). As reported, Unlimited Production is again ONLY referencing the 1st leak (per their attorney letter, submitted) AND NOT the 2nd moisture leak (problem #3) as documented in [redacted]s write-up.  We are seeking compensation for 2nd leak area as it was directly above UP's frame-in/roof patch (please reference the new wood, insulation, and light in RR's write-up).  It's indisputably their work and not "two rooms away".   We would like to formally request UP's roof experts document AS well as pictures.  As you will see, they will not be able to provide the detailed exterior and interior pictures for problem #3 as in [redacted]'s write-up.  To be clear, we are not seeking compensation for problem #1 (1st leak), only the 2nd leak.  If Unlimited Productions had contacted us directly instead of through their attorney, they would have been advised of this.  In addition, all claims purporting Eli or Chuck advised of shingles or roof issues were not made.  We would ask UP provide time-stamped proof of these claims. For problem #4, the bedroom wall, please again reference submitted photos.  UP was contracted to build our bedroom wall knowing full well that the [redacted] closet was to be mounted to it.  Before a denial, further proof of their knowledge that the closet was to be attached there is the custom light outlet.  Furthermore, there is a 2-inch gap between our bed and the wall, so it doesn't touch.  This is clearly installation error.  Is it normal wear and tear to have these problems by using one's closet?  I hope not for Revdex.com-listed company. My initial complaint resolutions stand:1. Compensation for 50% of roof bill.2. Repair of our bedroom wall. 3. Proof of Warranty, Insurance, and State Licenses 2013-present.4. If no resolution by UP, take necessary actions to document these issues and add warranty warning.Thank you for your time.

The complaints Mr. [redacted] has brought against Unlimited Production, LLP. are completely unsubstantiated. Mr. [redacted] hired Unlimited Production, LLP in April of 2014 to tear out his chimney thus shortening the closest in order to create a larger bathroom in his master bedroom.  We completed the...

job July of 2014. As per industry standard, Unlimited Production, LLP. provides a one year labor warranty. In response to the issue with their bedroom wall cracking, it was caused by normal wear and tear and having a heavy [redacted] wardrobe closet attach to it and a heavy bed frame hitting up against it, therefore this kind of stress on the wall will accelerate the wear and tear. In response to the roof issue, we were contacted by Mr. [redacted] in May of 2015 regarding a roof leak. Eli went out and inspected the interior damage caused by the roof leak. The location of the leak was approximately two rooms away from where the original work performed by Unlimited Production, LLP was completed and Mr. [redacted] was advised that the roof leak was not caused by Unlimited Production, LLP. Eli also explained had the roof leak been caused by the work performed by Unlimited Production, LLP in May of 2014, then it would have been discovered within the first five times it rained. At this point Mr. [redacted] insisted on someone taking a closer look, so Chuck went out and inspected the roof. It was determined that all of the shingles on his roof were well beyond their life expectancy and needed to be replaced, as well as at the eave the incorrect gutter guards had previously been installed. Chuck did notice a potential problem area at the lower corner of the roof and in effort to keep a satisfied customer, caulked in nails on the apron flashing free of charge with no objections by Eli, but again this area was in a completely different area from where the original work had been done. Mr. [redacted] was told at that time that the true issue was the age of the shingles and they needed to be replaced as soon as possible. Mr. [redacted] did not contact Unlimited Production, LLP. again until March 2016. Eli again went out, took pictures and explained once again to Mrs. [redacted] that this was not a problem caused by Unlimited Production, LLP. Eli also had a roofing expert, [redacted], inspect Mr. [redacted]’s roof and they confirmed this roof leak was not caused by the work performed by Unlimited Production, LLP in 2014. Once Mr. [redacted] had his roof repaired he emailed Eli with a copy of the estimate requesting reimbursement of $3965 and stated in writing that “Although RR cannot provide absolute proof that the major leak was caused by UP’s chimney removal, it is entirely conceivable that the old roof was put under significant construction demolition and construction stress thus creating the major, noticeable leak in the hallway.” Again this area was approximately two rooms away from where the chimney was torn out, and with [redacted] not being able to confirm without a doubt that this leak was caused by Unlimited Productions work performed two years prior, we had our attorney send a denial of liability letter to Mr. [redacted]. Unlimited Production, LLP takes pride in the work they do and go above and beyond to ensure they have satisfied customers. We had no issue reimbursing Mr. [redacted] for the toilet issue he mentioned because it was our responsibility and we have integrity, not because, as Mr. [redacted] stated, we were hoping to be “in the running” for a $200K remodeling job. At this point, we are asking that this complaint be resolved with satisfaction and that it not affect our grade with Revdex.com or be posted on our Revdex.com profile page, as none of Mr. [redacted]’s claims can be substantiated. We also have pictures and a letter from [redacted] proving this was not an issue created by Unlimited Production, LLP.
