Unlimited Recovery Repossession Division Reviews (2)

On 6/22/2014 my car was repossessed under false pretense. It was severely damaged and beyond drivability. This is a follow-up complaint that is being filed to match the complaint to [redacted] out of Greensboro NC. No business card was left at my house for me to reclaim my car. The only way I was able to find it was by searching through my city. I was initially threatened by the driver[redacted] that if I were to take my car back home then I would be charged with grand theft auto. This complaint will match details provided in my [redacted] complaint. the work order will show a lien holder of [redacted] and a owner by the name of [redacted]. Which is all incorrect.Product_Or_Service: [redacted]Account_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementI would like my car fixed so that I can go back to a normal life

A man in a black truck came to my home @ 7pm to "repo" my car & scared me & my child so bad she peed herself & is now afraid to go outside bc of him 3/26/14-I owe $1900 on my Acura.Im a Realtor paid commission only & [redacted] knew that & were working w me. I came home from the park with my daughter and was blocked in by a big black truck. This big man gets out and said hes taking my car WITH MY BABY IN THE CAR! I told him I have paid & asked him to leave while I called [redacted], he refused. He starts telling me how he will manover my car with a rope & other part to get it & he will sit in my driveway all night and watch me be humiliated in front of my neighbors. My daughter peed her pants & started crying asking him "please dont hurt us". My baby never got out of the car & he eventually went to his truck long enough for me to get my soaking wet baby out of the car. He was there for 2 hours abt 30 minutes before he left he got out of his truck, put his coat on, & asked if "They gonna let ya pay it or what?" I told him I was on the phone with the bank correcting the error. He eventually left but I think he came back and messed with my dads car because it wouldnt crank that same night and it had never had any issues but it was parked beside my car. I do NOT appreciate the trauma he put my baby through! Its Illegal to tow a car with a person much less a child inside and traumatize her! Also he said he was going to move my fathers car, which I was told is also Illegal, to get to mine. My dad was on the phone and told him "Sir you Better NOT Touch My Car". He rolled his eyes and kept on trying to intimidate me. My daughters dad is a [redacted] truck driver & now she said shes scared of all big dark colored trucks. If were a man and not a single mom he would not have treated me that way! My dad, who is retired military, that he was just trying to scare me so he could get my car to his storage and make more money than I even owe on my car. Which the bank confirmed is true. Rediculous behavior, I know they have a job to do but there is a thing called decent especially with a 4 year old little girl in the car, strapped in her car seat, covered in urine all over, crying for her mom & me in the car as well. Desired SettlementThe figues indicated by [redacted] are over $800.00 for this man to do nothing and try to take my car to his storage area which he said was 15 minutes away but is actually in Raleigh & that was going to cost me per him "Over 3,000.00 for him to manover my car out and take it to his storage". $1500.00 just to take it to storage! I have read the complaints on Revdex.com and it seems like they never fix the issues at hand. This is complaint # 5 and nothing has been done about the way they treat people. Everything with his quote is $5300.00.Business Response On March 26 at 6:49 pm, agent arrived at the debtor's house. Agent was familiar with this address because this is the 4th time that this vehicle with this debtor has been placed with our company for repossession for non payment. When agent arrived at the address, debtor was getting out of the vehicle and said that she needed to clean her daughter up because she has wet her pants in the car. This had happened before agent arrived at the address. Agent then informed debtor that he has a repo order out for the vehicle that was being blocked in. Debtor got extremely upset and stated that she had made a payment with [redacted] and didn't understand why it was still out for repo. Told agent that she was going to call [redacted] while she cleaned up her daughter and find out what the problem was. She then went in the house with her daughter. Agent then went and sat in his truck and stayed at the address and waited for debtor to come back out. According to [redacted] which is on every fleet truck for our company, agent left at 7:25 pm which is 36 mins after he arrived. Debtor never came back outside nor did she call the police at any point while she was inside the house. Agent was not yelling or threatening debtor at all. Agents do not know pricing to tell debtors. They tell them to call the office because that information is not available to the agents. Also, due to the fact that this is the fourth time that we have had this case and on the previous times, the wanted unit has been blocked in, debtor was well aware of the repo order and decided to block unit in so that it could not be picked up. Agent never stated to debtor that he was going to touch the other car blocking wanted unit in. If that was the case, agent could have easily done this the first, second and even third time we had the case and the unit was seen and blocked in. Also, while researching agents movements to respond to this complaint, agent never went back to the address that night or any night sense. Debtor is embarrassed because agent actually was able to speak to her outside and her neighbor was sitting on the porch and overheard that she was behind on her car.
