We respectfully disagree with Mr***'s replyWe have seen this problem numerous times with Honda drain plugs/aluminum oil pans which is why stock repair kits for this car. We regret that Mr*** is not satisfied with our response but we do not feel that this problem is the result of any over tightening of the drain plug by Smith Muffler. We feel that this problem would have occurred long before now if we were over tightening the drain plug

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Smith has changed my oil solely for over two years w no one but Smith touching the drain plug. Therefore the issue of the stripped oil pan was due to them not taking the time to maintain and torque the drain plug to the Honda specs required which in return caused the issue at hand. This is unacceptable customer service and care for my automobile which is the service I paid for and ended up with a stripped oil pan drain plug. If I changed my oil myself this would never of happened as I know how important it is to clean and torque the bolt to Honda specs. I know for a fact and watched several times Smith does not use a torque wrench to tighten oil pan bolts.
