Review: Initially in 2008 I brought my car to a repair shop that [redacted] (owner of Uno's chop shop & collision center) worked at for special repairs. Then I deployed, with an understanding between us that he would work on it as I am gone, and upon coming back in september 2009 ( with extremely little contact from him throughout the deployment) I find that he was fired and had taken my car with him. After paying another employee there to give me his contact information I finally got ahold of him. He then said that the car was done and he would be back in town in a couple weeks and I can pick it up then. when he returned he said it had been vandalized at a house he was keeping it at. I made a police report and an insurance claim in which the payment went to him. he moved it to another location, where he was working on it under his supposed business license. he then had to vacate that area and he moved it to another shop garage under the same business name (Uno's Chop Shop & Collision Center) I which he was still giving me the run around on why its not done. I then lost contact with him due to apparently him being in jail. I then talked to the police about the situation and magically he then contacted me and said he had yet again moved it to another location but was continuing to work on it. after more run arounds with him and another move he finally has his current location in stockton under the same business name. every time I ask about it he gives excuses as to why its not done. over and over again I lose contact and have to search for him. almost 8 years now, and my car work is still not done. I am now about to deploy again in a couple of weeks, and he has changed his number. I do not live in the same town as his shop so am limited on trying to get ahold of him. He has taken thousands of dollars from me work being done yet it is not done. Terrible service. lots of money spent and nothing to show for it.Desired Settlement: I would like all monies refunded and obviously my car back immediately in working condition

Company state: We were having PGE and power issues at the location. We were not there when the consumer showed up. We have since talked to them and straightened everything out and he has his car back now.

Review: I brought my car in about 8 months ago to have some painting done on my 79 thunderbird. He started the paint job but never finished. Told me he had employee issues. Now I want my hood and accessories back even though they are not done. I haven't been able to reach Uno at his shop nor via phone. All I want is my hood and accessories back. I have tried to contact him via Facebook also with no luck.Desired Settlement: Want my unfinished hood and accessories back. No progress so I will go to new painter.
