Unruh Homes

Unruh Homes Ltd was contracted to complete an aggregate concrete driveway and walks. Throughout the process the homeowner was advised the pouring could not take place if rain was anticipated or in the forecast. As a result, and understandable the process was delayed due to rain. However, after the delay the homeowner was advised that the pour was to happen, on day with rain in the forecast. The pour was completed and the desired and agreed upon product was not delivered to anyone's expectations. The resulting rain caused the aggregate to be flat and unattractive.
Unruh Homes sent an invoice 43 days after the pour. The Homeowner requested details of the invoice: calculations of cost, and never received it. Two days after the invoice was sent and received Unruh Homes placed a lien on my home, even after arrangements were made for payment.
From the beginning of the project to the end the communication from Unruh Homes was slow, frustrating and often neglected.
I would not recommend this company.

We had a driveway, garage pad a walkways done with Unruh Homes. The process took approximately 2 months to complete. We waited a long time to have the work poured, being told it was due to weather and rain couldn't be in the forecast because it affects the exposed side walk finishes. Finally the crew showed up at our home late in the afternoon when the skies were blackening and they started pouring cement and it started pouring. The finish is flat- needless to say. We had already paid the first installment and the second bill came on July 31st and on the 2 nd of Aug( 2 days later) they registered a lien on my property!! What does this tell you! They have failed to answer questions about the final finish or the breakdown of costs as requested- since the original plans were amended we were looking for some transparency- well it's not to be seen. I highly don't recommend using this company- they fail to show any business etiquette or decency.
