U.P. Hauling

Review: On 8/24/13 [redacted], the owner of U.P. Hauling LLC in [redacted], picked up an antique metal hay loader from my property. A couple of days before he came to pick it up, [redacted] and I agreed that [redacted] would take it to [redacted] Co. in [redacted] and would give me 40% of the amount that [redacted] paid him for the scrap metal. ([redacted] was the company that recommended [redacted] to me in the first place.) [redacted] was paying $175/ton for scrap metal at the time. By 9/6/13 I hadnt heard anything from [redacted] so I called him and asked why he hadnt sent me my check. He said it was because he didnt have my address. I gave him my address again and he assured me that he would send me my check. I hadnt heard from him by 9/19/13 so I called him again. I left a message and told him I didnt know if he was playing games with me but I expect him to send me my check. He never responded to my phone call.Desired Settlement: In a small community like [redacted], its not only wrong for a business to cheat his customers but it will inevitably hurt his business. My hope is that [redacted] will reconsider his actions and pay me the money that is owed.
