They presold monthly subscription boxes. I only received 1 box, I ordered 3. Company has sold and now bankrupt.
I preordered 3 monthly subscription boxes in April 2020. I received 1 box. I expected to receive 2 more in the coming months. I sent emails asking and received 1 reply that they were delayed d/t covid. In July/Aug I sent a few more emails, on Aug 13th I received an auto reply that O W purchased the company from the original owners but it is now probably going to go bankrupt. There will be no refunds of preordered boxes that were not received. I will attach the email below.

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund for the two boxes I haven't received OR send me two subscription boxes in a timely manner.

Upbox did not deliver a product nor can they refund my money.
Hi there, I purchased and Upbox one month subscription box on June 05 via the website CrateJoy, that aggregates and partners with box subscriptions. The box was never sent. On June 23, an email was sent from Upbox that mentioned delays in shipping. On July 31st, I submitted a ticket to Cratejoy because the box still had not arrived. On 8/1/2020 the ticket was closed by Cratejoy - who mentioned Upbox's delayed shipping notification and Upbox's disablement of any refunds. On Wed. August 12, Cratejoy notified me that they couldn't do anything else to get my money back and put all of the responsibility on Upbox. I then reached out to Upbox, who automatically responded that there was an ownership issue and no refunds could be counted on.

I would like a refund of $33.97.

I bought a 3-month subscription as a Christmas gift for my niece, and just learned that only 1 box was sent (she did not receive 2 of them).
On 12/23/20, I bought a 3-month subscription (1 box of products per month for 3 months) as a Christmas gift for my niece. On 1/9/20, I received notification that her first box was sent. I never received notification about the 2nd and 3rd boxes and did not think about it until I was cleaning out my emails and realized the gap. I logged into my account and saw that only 1 of the 3 boxes was sent, despite that I paid up front for all 3.

Full refund, as it did not deliver the full product.

I prepaid for a three month subscription box and only received two boxes. Company refuses to issue a refund. Many subscribers have the same issue.

On 2/27/2020, I paid $148.50 for 6 months subscription of monthly delivered Christian lifestyle boxes. I got them at a special 50% off rate. This was to be applied to March through August 2020 and auto renew in August. I received the March and April boxes, but no May box. I emailed the company and received a reply that I should have and she (Ophelia) would look into it and she later replied that she would ship out a box. She stated that the covid situation had interfered with shipping. I did not receive anything for weeks so I emailed again and she said she would have to check on it and I asked if it was going to be the May or June box and she replied June. July came and no notice of shipment. We received an email stating that there was going to be a delay due to a medical emergency. I was gone with waiting, until I saw several other customers post emails they received stating that Ophelia was ending the service and not sending any more boxes. She stated in this email that she is stepping away and if she gets money from the government PPE funding she will try to refund money. First of all, she changed the website to state 'no refunds? and secondly, she's not sending this email to everyone. I would like my refund of the 3 months for which I will not be receiving my subscription boxes. I did go in and cancel my subscription so that it does not auto renew in a few days.

On May 7th, 2020, I ordered two 3-month subscriptions from UPBOX of a themed gift box they claimed to have sold on their site to consumers, found through a master website called Cratejoy.

Both were Mother's Day gifts to my Mother and sister in the states, as I cannot be present for the holiday due to living abroad.

Luckily I figured out that neither my sister nor mother received any of their boxes. Each were to receive 3, one for May, June and now July. None have been shipped!!!

When I emailed the company, I got a bogus copy-and pasted reply that all consumers were getting stating a medical emergency at first, causing a delay in shipping, then it went on to ownership transfer, and then when I demanded a refund, I was told no. All they keep sending are lies to cover their butts in the email replies, yet nothing is being shipped, and to be told I cannot have a refund for a product they promised but NEVER DELIVERED is ILLEGAL AND they are THIEVES. I want buy money back ASAP. Attaching screenshots of other reviews and all correspondance. I WILL get my lawyer involved If I don't get my money back. My bank is already investigating. Ophelia, stop the lies, and give me my money!!! This is a worldwide pandemic, HOW DARE YOU KEEP MY MONEY that I COUDN'T EVEN AFFORD TO SPEND, but DID BECAUSE IT WAS FOR MOTHERS DAY!
