As mentioned in prior complaints to Revdex.com this company is condescending and rude to customers and costs them moneyOn Aug 'I emailed this company about my needing a new windshield for my boatI politely asked for info and priceWhat followed over the next several weeks can only be described as a complete nightmareAfter days had passed with no response from them I tried calling multiple times and always got answering machineI sent another follow up email and got this response.."Hi *** you will get a return call in the order it was received." I emailed explaining I was a pilot and would be difficult to catch on ground and got this response.."She cannot talk to multiple people at the same time." After multiple attempts to reach them again I sent this email..*** I gave up trying to reach you by phone after multiple attempts this morning and filled out the online order formAlong with the pictures I sent you should have everything you need to process my order nowThank you in advance for prompt serviceIn response I received a lengthy email detailing how they wanted things done in no uncertain termsThis email included a diagram with some measurements that did not match mine and I emailed asking about itThe response I received was.."Hi ***, unfortunately we do not do verifications hereIf I tell you it is the same and it turns out not to be we are out a lot of money and time and is a rick we are not willing to take ourselvesThat is why it is up to the customer to verify as you have the shield and if you are not comfortable with that you should send the old one." Therefore I sent my windshield to them AT MY EXPENSE on Sep 8th after several more back and forth emails wherein it was like pulling teeth to get a response let alone an answerOn Sep 14th I emailed asking had they received itFinally on the 17th I received this.."We received itIt matches the To proceed please call in a form of payment at XXX-XXX-XXXX and let *** know we have the shield"...I called in and luckily got *** immediately and gave her my credit card for payment THAT DAYOn the 27th I emailed requesting the status and got this..."Fabrication is a minimum of weeks from the time we received it as mentioned in the quoteHave you called in your form of payment yet?"...At this point I am getting quite frustrated with these people and emailed and asked if the right hand did not know what left was doing as I had PAID THEM the day they askedIn response this is what I received"Sir, you are a highly confused and a contentious personI told you for the first time on Sept 17th to call in a form of payment not weeks ago as you stateWe do not have any record of ever getting this from youYour demeanor is not welcome here and you have refused to read what I told you from the beginning making me to have to repeat my self over and over againNow you are at it againI have hundreds of civil customers that need my help and do not resort to gutter dialog, and all you have done is great divisivenessI am packing up your shield and sending back to you due to your childish behavior." WOW! So now not only am I out all of this time and effort but also out the expense of sending my windshield to them? That is unacceptable! To my knowledge they are the only company that makes this replacement windshield so now I cannot even get mine replaced Possible legal battle forthcoming

After waiting 6 weeks for my windshield that was supposed to be a 3 week order, I finally cancelled my order after they said they emailed me to let me know it would be more time. I never received 1 email correspondence from them. I gave my business to Wes at Keys Plastic Shop at Tavernier Creek Marina. I brought him my old broken windshield, and he called me about 5 hours later to let me know the new one was ready to pick up. Plus, it was $10 less, and a whole lot less aggravation! Wouldn't recommend UPD to anyone!

I used UPD Plastics to fabricate a new windshield for my 1970 Glastron boat. All communications were done via e-mail. I sent them my old cracked windshield and closely followed their on-line instructions. My new windshield was returned one week earlier then their original estimated delivery date. The new windshield is a PERFECT match!!!
