Upfitters is responding to the complaint made by [redacted] ( [redacted] [redacted] ) with the complaint ID number of [redacted] Our position is as follows: Upfitters,LLC and [redacted] [redacted] *** signed a contract for the build of an 18' Custom Mobile Kitchen TrailerPer contract [redacted] , [redacted] and [redacted] were to pay $15,at Signature of Contract and $25,at 80% completion,totaling $40,for their trailerUpfitters agreed to assist the [redacted] s in finding financing for the $25,but we did not specifically state we would do in-house financingWe sent them to multiple banks and agencies under the impression that they were perfect candidates for financingLittle did we know, the [redacted] s did not have the qualifications they told us and were therefore turned down by the agencies we sent them toWe initially requested the 80% progress payment in January of and we did not receive the wired payment until March 24,In the time between these dates, [redacted] demanded a delivery date that we were unable to provide because we did not know when she would provide the final paymentAt Upfltters,one of our policies is to refuse a trailer be delivered until payment is made in full We continued to work on their trailer during this time as wellOnce payment was made, [redacted] still demanded a delivery date***, ***, ***,and [redacted] (owners of Upfitters and decision makers) were out of town at a business conference and were unable to provide a delivery date on March 24, because they could not inspect the trailer and give a correct time frame [redacted] specifically told [redacted] that once they returned to the shop on March 30,that we would provide a delivery dateThat was unacceptable to the [redacted] s and they hired an attorney and sent a demand letter along with filing a complaint through the Revdex.comIn the week on April 7,2014,Upfitters agreed to have a meeting with the [redacted] s on April15,to give a delivery date and answer any questions [redacted] and [redacted] met with [redacted] , [redacted] ,and [redacted] on April 15,at 1pm and went through the trailer and answered some questions.The [redacted] s seemed pleased and were happy with the April 24, delivery dateThat night, [redacted] emailed [redacted] with a list of things they thought were wrong with the trailer, of these things were final touches on the trailer that would be done in the final days before delivery [redacted] called [redacted] and they agreed to have another meeting together where he could answer her questions with more detailIn the time since their April 16,meeting, Upfitters,LLC and [redacted] have moved on from this miscommunication and argument and now have a positive working relationshipWe speak almost daily and the [redacted] s have allowed Upfitters to use their trailer as a show piece to show off the work we doWe hope to maintain this relationship so both companies can be greatly benefited in the long runUpfitters requests that this complaint be closed,because we have such a strong relationship and because the [redacted] s received their trailer on the date that was promised Desired Settlement: Upfitters hopes to continue our strong working relationshipWe will not pay restitution and it seems as though the [redacted] s are not requesting that from us anymore Thank you, [redacted] for Upfitters, LLC April 28,

Buyer beware!!!! They say they are going bankrupt!!!
They took $94,of our money and did NOT complete the truck, left out the generator, freezer and did not wrap itIf you have ordered something from them, do not pay them in full at 80% like the contract says, they stop working on the truck and then ask for more money to complete it! You've been warned, do not do business with this company ~ The *** *** ***
