I unfortunately used terraBridge via wormhole and converted 1020 UST to ETH (transferring it from terraStation to my uphold account).
The ETH never arrived.
I talked to wormhole and they said the transaction was showing about 1020 UST delivered to the account (somehow did not convert to ETH), however UPHOLD accepted the UST.
The wormhole staff said that uphold is obligated to either reject or return funds, however upon talking to their senior staff they are hiding behind a ridiculous clause somewhere deep in their terms and conditions… they claim they have the right to steal my UST and keep it for themselves.
Unbelievable.
If this is not resolved in 2-3 business days, I will be hiring a high end PR firm that I’ve used in the past for business dealings and having them bring this story public.
Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: It is not relevant to my original complaintTheir website clearly states that unless you are trying to withdraw an amount over a certain amount as a criteria you need to provide proof of ID such as a drivers license, passport etc., but if you try to withdraw for less than the required criteria, it then tells you the same thing again with a lesser requirement and repeats the same process with a lesser requirement each time until the required dollar amount is less than $1, in which no business can process under $amount; any transaction amount has to be at least $as is standard in the industry for a transactionAlso, like I say, I deposited my currency without showing any ID, so I should be able to withdraw without showing ID; besides, I am not about to hand over my sensitive credentials to a company with an unkown place of business address and an unknown CEO.Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Our terms of service clearly state members have a limit of up to $1,and if users want to take money off the platform they need to provide additional information (Government issued ID)We are a regulated company and have to comply with KYC and AML standards, just like a bank doesIf the user had provided the information requested their account would be opened without issue
