I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]
Steering wheel removed and replaced with junk from some car with an OEM airbag;
Missing trim pieces;
Door handles window cranks missing;
Arm rests in trunk not upholstered;
Seat belts not completely installed (major safety issue);
Dashboard covering not finished and has excess material hanging over glovebox; glovebox interior removed and still missing; car not mechanically sound to return to Phoenix;

Have decided to end any communications with this upholstery and top shopThey have tried character assignation, intimidation via yelling, bullying, lack of telephone etiquette, and general surliness and must be on the edge of financial insolvencyIf your car is in their care when they hit bottom you may not get it back without a fightBe prepared to be ignored, listen to untruths, and their lackadaisical attempts to meet promised deadlinesThere are other upholstery shops in the area who make customer relations a component of their business modelUnfortunately Upholestry Shops and Tops located at *** * *** ** in Scottsdale AZ is not included within this group

We are in receipt of your letter dated 9/23/2014 per the above...

party and I.D. # [redacted]. We have been in contact via phone several times since receipt of this letter and advised him to bring in the vehicle for completion of the items that he claims that we didn't complete. Mr. [redacted] refuses to do so because he moved to New Mexico and doesn't want to take the time to drive over so we can address his concerns.
It is our opinion that we completed the job as requested by Mr. [redacted] but are willing to address his concerns, if he brings the vehicle to us and goes over those concerns. Mr. [redacted] further stated that he didn't want to bring this vehicle to us for completion, but would like for us to work out a deal with him on other vehicles that he has in the Phoenix area.
We have no interest in working on other vehicles belonging to Mr. [redacted] to offset his claims in this matter as we feel very strongly that we have fulfilled our obligations to Mr. [redacted].

This business is not professional and do not value customers once they have received their money. I paid $6,000 for a complete interior renovation of a 1964 Plymouth Fury and wound up with an unfinished job, extremely rude interactions with proprietors, character assassination and downright surliness. I cannot let this go and plan to file in small claims court. If you are thinking of using their services be cautious and only pay when the job is completed to your satisfaction. BTW my first submission regarding this outfit no longer appears on the Revdex.com website. I wonder how many other individuals they have ripped off and covered their tracks.
