upmc are the worst hospitals. I was in upmc for 3 weeks. and NOT ONCE WAS I WASHED. NOT EVEN MY FACE NOR WAS I GIVEN MOUTH CARE. THE PATIENT CARE TECHS COULD CARE LESS AND ALL ACT AS IF YOU ARE ANNOYING THEM IF YOU USE THE CALL LIGHT. no wound care of my incision either.

regarding a complaint filed by [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] was questioning a bill and subsequent collection notice.
 
As discussed, I requested a release from Mr. [redacted], I also advised him the bill was resolved and agency notified. He seems satisfied with the information. Attached is our email correspondence.

already been taken. Ms. [redacted]'s payment was received electronically via PNC Bank on September 1, 2015. The payment came through with Mr. [redacted]'s account information (Ms. [redacted] s spouse), not Ms. [redacted]'s. This caused the payment to post to Mr. [redacted] s account, where it was later determined to be an overpayment and refunded to Mr. [redacted] on September 15, 2015. (Check number [redacted], cashed September 22, 2015.)Currently Ms. [redacted] still owes $679.33 towards the July 28, 2015 date of service. Payment plan options are available by calling UPMC at ###-###-####. Or payment in full can be made via our online bill pay option at UPMC.com, by calling the above number and speaking to one of our representatives, or by mailing a payment to [redacted], Pittsburgh PA [redacted] All options are free of charge, convenient and confidential.This information was provided to Ms. [redacted] and her husband when a UPMC agent reached out on November 16, 2015.Sincerely,Heidi Z[redacted]Location Supervisor, Customer Service Cc:

Review: I made a payment for services in good faith for the amount of $1597.35. It was a direct electronic transfer from my bank to UPMC. I have proof from my bank that the payment was made on 9/1/15 and UPMC had the payment. To date, UPMC continues to state that they cannot locate the payment.. I have made numerous calls to them while they investigate this issue and no one can locate the payment. They asked me to get routing and electronic transfer numbers from my bank, which I did and provided them to Tom J[redacted], a supervisor at UPMC accounting department. I was told they could locate the payment in a matter of a couple of days with these numbers. As of today, UPMC still cannot locate my payment. UPMC continues to tell me that they will call me back after they investigate and locate the money, but no one ever calls me back. To me, this constitutes theft and I am ready to seek legal action against UPMC for these funds.Desired Settlement: I request billing adjustment, any necessary adjustment to my credit report, as I have excellent credit standing, and an explanation of where these funds that I paid went and why I have had to make numerous calls and complaints.

Review: A bill was not mailed to my home address as per listed on my health insurance account. A phone call was not made to my listed cell phone number, nor a voicemail was left regarding an outstanding balance on my account from a hospitalization that I incurred over the summer. A credit warning was submitted to me through a monitoring service stating that I had two collections notices from UPMC which I was completely unaware of because the above actions were not taken to contact me. The balance of the account was immediately paid and I contacted the collections agency and notified them of the facts listed above and they submitted to me a written commitment to have the 3 major credit institutions take the collection citations off my record. The citation has yet to be removed and I pride myself in having good credit, but because of the lack in communication to notify me of a late payment, my credit score dropped drastically.Desired Settlement: I would like UPMC Mercy to have the two collections citations removed from my credit score.
