You can clearly see they have no idea what they're doing based on the fact that they can't even spell my... maiden last name correctly (something they did multiple times throughout our contact). I do understand the stipulations of the contract, including that the head count may not be changed after 14 days until the wedding. However, I was TOLD by [redacted] several days before the wedding that she could refund the amount, so either she has no idea what she's doing or they are trying to get out of paying $180. Additionally, I was told that anything I left at the venue overnight would be safe. I was told this by my "personal event coordinator," [redacted] who said anything I left there would be completely safe for the wedding. He did not tell me their business would not be liable or that my items would not be safe. The response says that I should have made arrangements in advance with my cake decorator. However, saying that I should have made arrangements in advance is like saying it wasn't acceptable to leave anything at the venue, including my dress and decorations, which I was also told I could safely leave at the venue overnight. The owner of the business, [redacted] told me that I would have access to the building starting the night before my wedding if I had my rehearsal dinner there as well. If he didn't think it was safe to leave anything at the venue overnight, he and [redacted] should not have encouraged me to do so. Considering I gave this company about $10,000 for mediocre service at best, the least they can do is refund me the money they said they would give me instead of hiding being their own convoluted nonsense. They have no "good faith."
