Uprising Electrical

Review: Services to be performed were not delivered as promised and expected. The automatic timers installed did not work as promised to control the front porch lights, floodlights, lampposts and rear terrace lights. I had to call and call and call to get [redacted] to even return to attempt to take care of the problem. He failed to keep his promises to come back on several calls. When he did come, he was not capable of doing the job as he promised. He readily accepted the payment; check $ 2068 for $255.00; paid 3/26/13; as he initially charged, when he supposedly had done a workable installation. It did not function properly within the initial 24 hr. cycle. I had to finally contact another service provider ( [redacted] ; Invoice Dated: 7/25/13; amt. paid $340; to do the installation of the timers to control above mentioned functions. ( I simply dismissed the Sensor hook-ups; noted below that were a part of the original work to be done). In my follow-up contacts with Uprising Electrical, [redacted] agreed to refund the amt of $120 to me; no later than a month after my last conversation with him on August 8, 2013. He asked me to allow him a month because of slow cash flow. I agreed and informed him that I would not be calling him again. If the refund check for $120.00 was not received by Sept. 8, 2013, I would be filing my complaint with Revdex.com and next inform the [redacted] as well. Additionally, I purchased, out of pocket, one of the two timers he recommended for use. The services promised were not delivered. Actually, agreeing to share the cost of services not delivered was more than I should have had to do. Also included in the promised service was the installation of Sensors placed on the side porch light and fixture outside the utility exit door. The Sensors worked partially for a brief period of time. (I simply excused the Sensor functions and did not press this part of the installation. I will e-mail ( Attachments)copies of the communications that were sent to Uprising Electrical to resolve this matter.Desired Settlement: The cash refund ( cashier's check) in the amt. of $120.00 be sent to me immediately.
