Review: For a second time, my account has been fraudently used by an unknown shipper in Kentucky. I reside in Maryland. I called UPS to contest the charges for a package I did not send. I was told that the accounts receivable department cancelled the same account today, May 8, 2014. The invoice is dated May 3, 2014 and the package I was charged for was shipped on April 24, 2014 from Kentucky to Ohio. How can an account be closed without notice and how can I contest a charge for a package I did not send if I received a bill but the account is inactive? I would like a new shipper number since the one I have been assigned is being used fraudently. I would like the charges reversed and the account reinstated with a new number so that my credit is not impacted.Desired Settlement: Refund of invoice charges; New shipper number with a note that the previous number is being used fraudently; A note in my account that I am not responsible for fraudently charges.
