I received an email from *** advertising ***. When I went to the *** they told me they were not ***. But, the building has the *** logo on it and their uniforms have the logo on it and they answer the phone ***. They charged me 26% higher than the advertised ***. I will send a copy of the email if needed.
Re: Complaint #***. In response to the customers complaint that he was unable to get a rate that *** advertised. The *** locations are locally, independently, owned licensed franchisees of *** and as such, there are programs that the *** corporation offers that are not available to the *** network of franchises. *** is one of these. At this time, the *** program has not been authorized by use for the *** network and only a *** center at one of the *** hubs are able to offer this program. Any email communication advertising this would have been from ***, and not from ***. As a mailbox holder, the customer was entitled to a 15% discount on his shipping, and this was applied to his total charge. I am rejecting this response because: The problem with your response is that the ad did not specify that it would not be available in any of the stores, this is false advertising. Furthermore you stated that they offer box holders a 15% discount, this is incorrect at the *** location. I am a box holder and they only offer 5% discount.
