Review: Paid UPS store to deliver products (gifts-roller blade, elbow and knee pads $64.76, Best Buy Gift card $40 and a despicable me 2 CD $19.99)on 12/**/13. These products were purchased within 2 hours of going to UPS. The products were to be delivered on 12/**/13. I presented products to personnel at UPS and they weighed and measured the products and took the products in back to package them. On the evening of 12/**/13 I was contacted by my wife to be informed that she unwrapped a cable box, router and remote. I went to the UPS store on Saturday 12/**/13 to inform them of this error and was told I had to wait for an investigation. I was given a number to call (###-###-####) if I wanted to contact their customer service. After calling the initial number along with their corporate office I was passed off to several departments. I informed one customer service representative that I recall the customer after me had a cable box router and remote. the store has a security camera and if they time stamp the transactions they can expedite getting my children's gifts. At this time my wife has been involved in corresponding with the store as I have no time, patience and resources to continue calling the store to find out about the services I paid for. I am working away from home and things are tight and did not have the capital resources to pay additional for insurance (negligence - incompetence). Each time I go to the store I have to pay for parking which is an additional inconvenience. I last contacted the store on 01/**/14 to which I was told they will contact me when the package has been located. It is not necessary for me to keep calling (bothering them) while they have my money and my gifts with SUB STANDARD SERVICE .Desired Settlement: I want my gifts held at the store when they are located. I will have them delivered by a reputable and capable company that does provide customer service.

Unfortunately UPS was unable to locate the package. Therefore Lost package claim was issued. Customer provided the proof of value of the lost package contents on 01/**/2014.

As Reimbursement for the contents of the package, Including packaging and shipping, Settlement check # [redacted]was mailed out to the customer on 01/**/2014 via USPS First Class mail. Unfortunately when there is Damaged or lost package situation occurs it takes some time to resolve, but everything was being handled on timely manner. We tried to expedite the process as much as we could. We could understand customer’s side point of view.

We apologize for the inconvenience that may have caused dissatisfaction to the customer. We hope to serve better future.

Review: [redacted] they did not leave my package because they needed a signature because it contained wine. I stayed home all day [redacted] to sign for the package. I signed up for notifications. I got one [redacted] saying my package couldn't be delivered while I was home. I called [redacted] to complain and they were very rude. I explained I could not wait another day because I am transferring my mother in law into hospice. They didn't care. I Called [redacted] who I bought the product from. They were very nice and helpful. I'd like to file a complaint against [redacted] for not delivering my package and for terrible customer service over the phone.Desired Settlement: That this never happens again. I order products regularly.I just want my merchandise delivered to my home properly with out a hassel.
