Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] at Texas Skyways, over the phone, with no evidence, diagnosed the problem as one of being my own fault, claiming we ran the engine without oil; this claim is completely untrue and caused me to lose trust with Texas SkywaysUpon such hearing such words we decided to send the engine to a reputable third party who does not have a direct financial affiliation with Texas Skyways.The engine was found with parts manufactured grossly incorrect.Texas Skyways is not only failing to provide warranty support, but is holding the documentation necessary to repair the engine hostage in an effort make me sign a hold harmless under duress, and previously tried to make the repair station ship him the evidence after he received picturesMr Johnson also threatened me saying I would need a new pan from him to be legal (which is not true), in an effort to trade pans and hide the evidence.A simple question to ask about the ICA's would be, why can Western Skyways repair my engine right now but yet there is some sort of "delay" in providing documentation to my repair station? Texas SkywaysThe Customer with the failed engine agreed to send his engine to Western Skyways, a company that Texas Skyways has chosen to partner with in our proprietary informationThe customer first agreed to send the engine to Western SkywaysFor reasons unknown, the customer then decided to send his engine to a shop that is not authorized by Texas Skyways to do the repairsWestern Skyways could have repaired the engine and returned to the customer in a very timely basisIn 1996, when our STC was approved by the FAA to modify the to an 0550FTS engine an Instruction for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) was not provided by the FAAWhen we were originally asked for an ICA it was my belief I could simply create oneLater, I learned that it must be FAA approvedConsequently, I have furnished a draft ICA to the FAA requesting their approvalOnce the ICA is approved by the FAA I can then provide a copy of it to the repair station requested by the customer. * * ***President
