[redacted] has been a consignor with me for several years and is aware of all details concerning our consignment contract. I personally went over the contract with her on 3/21/15 when she brought her items in. We...

have a 90 day contract period with an additional 10 day grace period given to all of our consignors so they may retrieve any items they might want back prior to expiration. I did extend her contract for an additional 90 days on a pair of window blinds that had not sold yet. In addition we offer many extra services to our clientele, including FREE 24/7 online access to their accounts so they can track their sales and expiration dates at their convenience. I also gave [redacted] a card with her account number, expiration date and easy instructions on how to log into her account. She thanked me and told me she trusted me to price and sell her items for her. I kept her window blinds on the floor for approximately 200 days before they were donated. She did not come in the retrieve them for an additional 120 days beyond that.
On Saturday, 1/15/16 [redacted] and her husband came into my shop to collect her expired items. At that point the only items that were still in the shop were some window shutters which were expired and technically were now store property. One of my staff did however retrieve the shutters and give them back to her. Apparently, this was not acceptable and she began to question my staff member at length. On a very busy Saturday afternoon, she blocked the check out counter with many customers waiting and became quite rude and condescending to my employee. My employee showed her a copy of the contract including her signature and repeatedly explained that the window blinds had been donated a long time ago. [redacted] continued to cause a scene but eventually did leave with her shutters. I was told about the incident immediately and came in to the shop to review the videotape. I found my employee quite patient and professional in her demeanor.
The next day [redacted] left a message on the store's answering machine stating that she would be back with the police in a couple days. I wrote [redacted] a letter with copies of all documentation and held it at the front desk for 10 days. I did this for my employees benefit, in case she came in and I was not there. After no show and no word from [redacted], I mailed the letter to her. She did call me upon receipt and we discussed the contract again. She seemed fine...understanding even!
I have always found [redacted] and her husband to be quite pleasant. I do not know what is happening in her personal life, but it seems to me that her memory is just not what it used to be. We have donated a few of her items in the past and there has been no issue associated with it. I have also attached a copy of our donation records for her account.
I am celebrating 9 years in business this month and this is the first time I have ever had anyone call the Revdex.com and file a complaint. I have always considered myself to be someone with the utmost honesty and integrity. I am disappointed that [redacted] is challenging that.
