I was told lies about a car I was considering buying, I gave $500.00 to hold the car and now I just want my money back!In May 2015 I was considering buying a[redacted] told me I needed to give him $500.00 to hold the car overnight because someone else was interested in the car and if I didnt leave some money he would sell it to the other customer. I left the money but had second thoughts, I called him that night and said I didnt think I wanted my money back and would want my money back when I went the next morning. so when I got there the following morning very early, I had my parents with me and they looked at the car at that point we all told them we wanted the holding money back and did not want any car they had to offer, he told me no at first but we said we would go to court and he said give me time to sell the car and then you can have your money. so we left only to hear nothing from them for months, finally I took papers out and went to court, they did not show up because they had vacated the business on 301. I found them at a garage on green st in wilson, [redacted] has paid me $100.00 but no more, I am still desperatley trying to get my other $400.00 back, because I have two kids, all these people did was lie and steal from me what was mine. I cannot go back to court as they have left wilson completley to avoid paying me at all, they havent answered the phone in weeks, I dont know what to do anymore. someone please help!Desired Settlementi want the $400.00 owed to me and promised to me by [redacted]Business Response I have spoken with [redacted] and a repayment plan has been set.

I was sold a car that was in someone elses name, it's been almost 60 days with no tags or title for the carOn June 10, 2015 I purchased a [redacted] from upscale ridez in Wilson, NC. I paid $1700 cash for this car including tax tags and title, I was told that I would have the title for the car within 2 weeks and its now been almost 60 with nothing. On July 15 I was stopped by the police and told that the car I was driving was registered in someone elses name and that there had been nothing submitted for tags or title on the car. I have spoken to the seller several times and all I get from him is lies. I was told on July 15 that I would have my tags and title within 10 days, its now August 1 and I still have seen nothing from this man. I have already had $300 worth of work put into this car and it still has issues.
