I hired this company to remodel my existing bathroom and the adjoining roomOriginally I requested a regular walk in shower and changed to a steam room showerThis house was built in It was very well constructedAll floors were level when work beganThis is no longer the caseI purchased expensive quality products to installThe bath tub and shower were chipped when installed.The faucets were not installed properly The electrical for the jetted bathtub was not done correctly and now has to be redone.I can not use bathroom lights and tub at the same time without overheating the basement breakerI was told this is a very dangerous situationI now have to hire another company to repair what was done incorrectly.I originally told the owner, Chuck [redacted] to do whatever was necessary to properly complete the workMy house was torn up for weeks with only a half bath to useMy attic is finished, but I was prepared for him to tear up whatever was necessary and I would have it redone.I paid him approximately $10,cash and supplied all materialsI expected the work to be completed correctly and everything would work and be safe to useAt this point I plan to file a small claims case and request the maximum possibleI should not have to pay for repairs out of pocket

Response taken by phone: Mr [redacted] is correct that we worked in the house for weeks He supplied all the materials and we completed the work The floors are not level due to the age of the house (over year?)The problem with the shower was that a main heat duct for the upstairs was underneath the shower We called the manufacturer to resolve this issue and I explained to him, what we had done As for the electrical, it is knob and tube The attic was completely finished and we had no access to the electrical We wired the bathroom as per the customer's request We were paid as each part of the job was finished to his satisfaction, there fore I do not feel he is due a refund
