I hired “Upstate Home Improvements” in June-to repair my home’s siding scheduled June 27, I noticed sometime thereafter an approximate inch gap between siding materialI contacted the contractor and reported this issue with no return call August and SeptemberThe contractor finally
returned my call saying he was on vacation out-of-state and would get back to meAs I did not hear from the contractor by telephone I then used email as contact and was responded saying I would put me in their calendar October 13, and get the job doneAfter no contact from the contractor, I called them October 15, with no answerOn October 17, I tried to reach the contactor again to find his telephone number disconnectedI emailed the business who recommended this contractor to file a complaint and they said this contractor was no longer in their systemI then filed a complaint with the Revdex.com in an attempt to resolve this issueThe contractor then called me saying they heard from the Revdex.com to which they denied any issue with their workThe contractor said they relocated to South Carolina, emailed me and referred me to a another local contractor to resolve any siding issueAs I did not hear from the new local contractor, I hired another contractor to remedy the problemThe new contractor fixed the problem and charged me $My wish is to have this $reimbursed as soon as possible.As I did not hear from the new local contractor as promised, I personally hired another contractor to remedy the problemThe new contractor fixed the problem and charged me $My wish is to have this $reimbursed as soon as possible

Thank you Revdex.com for following up on my complaint.  Charles Blackman of Upstate Home Improvement continues to deny fault with the siding installation.  I told him I could put him in contact with the new contractor who fixed the gap left in siding.  Blackman said he would reimburse me for the cost associated with the repair and is now reneging his offer.  Again I appreciate your assistance in this matter.

I have contacted [redacted]. She has my new number, I gave it to her when I contacted her the first time. I have moved to South Carolina. I had asked her to provide me with a picture of what was wrong with the siding. She told me that she would have a friend of hers email me a picture of it. I did not receive anything from her and the next message I received from her was that she had someone fix it and wanted me to pay her for it. When I originally did the job and it was complete, I went over everything that was done and she was satisfied with the work and that is when she's paid me.
