As per our conversation this afternoon here are the facts:The patient had a procedure not covered by her insurance and was informed upfront before the work was started that the procedure was NOT a covered service The patient understood and prepaid for the work before the procedure was begun.The dental services have already been completed in the patient's mouth A refund for a dental procedure that has already been completed cannot be done The patient was informed of the fact that the service was not covered by her insurance beforehand, prepaid for the procedure, and the work was completed We do not refund for services provided A dental service is not a product that can be "taken back" by the merchant

I had countless conversations with my union and they continue to tell me the procedure that the dentist did is covered by them... so I do not understand why I was charged in the first place.
