Review: Urban Archeology delivered the wrong color floor tile, then refused to take back the product and refund our account. History: We visited the UA [redacted] store many times prior to submitting our order, referencing their in-showroom sample. The order was placed in August 2014, with delivery promised in 8 - 10 weeks, and we scheduled our contractor accordingly. At that time, our [redacted] was supposed to be charged 50% of the total order amount, the remainder to be charged upon delivery. A few days later, we noted the entire 100% had been charged to our account. We called many times to check on the status, as the order was very, very late causing us many delays and costing us money in stalled contractors. Delivery was promised on a Monday in mid-November and I took a vacation day to wait for its arrival, from 8am to 7pm; it was a "no show" and I received no notification at all. It finally showed up two days later at 6pm. Having lost faith in the company, I had the driver wait while I examined the contents of the order. The entire order was the wrong color. I asserted that the driver put it back on the truck and return it, to which he refused. I immediately reached [redacted] of Urban Archeology to apprise her of the situation and informed her that we wanted the material returned and our [redacted] credited for the full refund, including shipping cost. I personally drove over to the [redacted] showroom with samples of the material so she could review them. She agreed that they were so very light as to be grey and not variegated like the sample in the showroom (which they use to sell the product), the very same sample that I viewed when I made my decision to purchase the material. She said she would reach the [redacted] to intercede. When another week went by without word I reached [redacted] again, explaining that everyone is reachable by email and asking again for a response. After another two weeks, they informed me that they would not be taking back the material and would not refund my [redacted]Desired Settlement: Return the material and refund full amount of purchase price plus tax and shipping.
