Review: [redacted] of Urban Custom Service ([redacted]) was hire to complete an itemized list of home repair issues. The 1st of August he place a flyeron my door stating he was a licensed contractor explaining what he specialized in. I call & setup an appointment for the next week. We went over repairs needed to be completed & the cost. [redacted] started working on August 19th. It seemed like everything was going great. On August 22nd he told me he could not complete the molding strip around the door frame because he didn't have a saw. He asked to be paid to purchase a saw. Also said his work [redacted] was not running and needed repairs. I agreed to pay him in full ($1077.00). He cashed the check and I never saw him again. Left work undone. And as if that wasn't enough he stole items that I purchased from Lowes so he could do the work. He stole 5 gallon bucket of [redacted], 2 gallons of [redacted] exterior paint, drill bits, rollers, brushes & 1 large box of painter plastic. I called [redacted] several times, leaving threating voicemail messages to at least return my items. He managed to return all but 1 gallon of [redacted] paint @ $29.42. He left the items on my front step in the middle of the night. I open the door to leave for work and there the items were on my front step. All the items had been open and used with except to 2 paint rollers & drill bits.Desired Settlement: I want the cost of the paint @ 29.42. Need to be reimbursed for unfinished work. As he was paid in full and never returned to complete repairs he was hire to do.
