I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Mr. [redacted] was paid $2,400.00 in advance for his services. Mr. [redacted] was to submit a detailed status report of his progress to Mr. [redacted], "once a week" pursuant to the contract. The contract began on July 15, 2016. The first and only report from Mr. [redacted] was received on August 23, 2016. It was elementary in that it was vague and contained no specific details of the exact ACTIONS Mr. [redacted] performed to substantiate his claim for services rendered. The invoice Mr. [redacted] submitted is also vague and has no validity. (1) Exactly what labor did Mr. [redacted] perform doing "Social Media and Marketing" that substantiate him withholding $250.00? (2) Exactly what "Website Design Consulting" did Mr. [redacted] perform to substantiate him withholding $350.00? (3) Exactly what type of "Distribution and Marketing services did Mr. [redacted] performed to substantiate him withholding $450.00? Mr. [redacted] is attempting to keep $1,050.00 for services he did not perform. Mr. [redacted] has offered Mr. [redacted] $300.00 for what little time, Mr. [redacted] spent on conference calls with Mr. [redacted] and his publicist, [redacted]. Since receiving Mr. [redacted]'s invoice, Mr. [redacted] has made no attempts to return any monies to Mr. [redacted] (not even deducting what he claims he is owed and sending Mr. [redacted] the balance). A fair resolution would be for Mr. [redacted] to return the amount of $2,100.00 to Mr. [redacted] to be deposited in his in his [redacted] account immediately. I attach the September 1, 2016 letter to Mr. [redacted] terminating him for breach of contract and the "Action Plan" of services Mr. [redacted] was to perform but did not. Thank you.
