Complaint[redacted] Urbane Driving Ltd.in Saskatoon, [redacted] Charges $140.00 to his customers if they are ill and unable to attend his course for rescheduling. (1 hour course) He does not mention this until you go to your rescheduled appointment. There he takes the initial fee of $150.00 for the course and then tells you, "You owe me $140.00 for rescheduling" This "fee" he charges is almost triple of what [redacted] has allowed the contracted companies to charge for a "No Show" which is $50.00. I spoke with 11 different driving companies and a large majority charge $25.00 or nothing. [redacted] What he did is took my $150.00 and refunded $10.00 saying "You owe me this for rescheduling" and to go with a different instructor. I spoke with [redacted] about the matter. They spoke with [redacted] and he was to return the money. Instead of being a reputable person or company, Warren has decided to return $90.00 and keep $50.00 [redacted]. [redacted]Desired SettlementI would like the whole $140.00 returned [redacted] Business Response [redacted] he cancelled a 2 hour appointment and rescheduled and I didn't charge him for this but I did tell him my rate of $140 if he does it again. I also put it in text to him which I have a copy of. Then for the new appointment (2 hour apt., not 1 as he stated) he left me a message last minute saying he can't make it. So when we met he got very angry and upset he had to pay this fee for cancelling even though he knew about it. [redacted] did speak with me about the complaint and said it's up to me what I want to do. Out of good faith I decided to only charge him $50 and return $90, which I did. I asked him to sign a statement about this which he did. So I have a signed document about what took place and that I returned $90 to him. [redacted] Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)[redacted] is over charging people who attend his driver course. [redacted] charges more that what is allowed by [redacted]. [redacted]. [redacted]. Final Business Response I am not overcharging anyone [redacted]. [redacted]. [redacted]. [redacted] I have a signed document from [redacted] acknowledging the agreement we had and all money that we dealt with. This case is closed unless further correspondence comes from [redacted].
