Untrustworthy business!
After spending over $400 on a 20" vanity and reaching out to this company and them blaming myself for the damage I hope this company goes under! They had the audacity to tell me that my negligence caused the damage and mentioned my grout on my floor as being dirty and that I am unclean! Too stupid to know or even understand that floor is 100 years old! That stain has been there for a long time! Of course, the grout looks like that! It looks like that after I scrub it too! How about just telling the truth and stating that although you said it is a wood product you included MDF and particle board in that category? Nothing worse than blaming someone for using your product the way it was intended to use it! It's a vanity and water goes down the drain not down the front. Buyer Beware! All they had to do was apologize and make it right but they chose not to! Good luck Urban furnishings

Review: This business misleads consumers to believe they are selling original furniture designed by [redacted], a well known furniture designer from the mid-century. This business misuses the designers name in the title of the "Womb Chair" product, without indicating that it is a reproduction. The authenticity of this product is also misrepresented by the significant price reduction ($1,999.) that is shown.Desired Settlement: After ordering this chair I called the business to confirm that I had ordered an original. I was told that it was not, and that I should know better based on the price of $749. I told them that I believed it was an original based on the the product title and price reduction shown. I was told that I can return the chair if I give them half the price of the chair or roughly $400.

Product listing clearly states that item is a Reproduction. Buyer made purchase on 8/3/15 at 2:42pm. Item was shipped on 8/4/15 with a shipping confirmation email sent to buyer on 4:42pm. Buyer emailed us on 8/4/15 at 6:01pm to inquire about a possible cancellation. Buyer also called on 8/6/15 at 1:20pm to inquire a return. We advised buyer that product listing does clearly state that item is a reproduction. Buyer is still entitled to return item since buyer is still within our 30 day return period. Buyer is responsible for returning item back to our warehouse and there is a 20% restocking fee on all furniture item. The merchandise must be in original condition along with original materials, accessories, and packaging. Additional fees may apply if shipments are returned damaged or without original packaging.-UrbanFurnishing.

I am rejecting this response because:I was mislead by the way this item was represented online.

Purchased items on Amazon.com. Spent $2700. Items arrived late, damaged - broken glass, and not as they appear on the website. My husband cut his hand on the glass that was shattered everywhere. Items were to be used at a party over the weekend and now since they were late and damaged they could not be used. contacted the seller directly per amazon and was told that they would send the glass - not in time for the party. that they had 30 day return policy - but I had to arrange for and pay for return shipping. agent was rude when I pushed him for a better option - told me it was my fault they were late and I should have ordered 1 month ago. he also said that since this shipped from CA I should expect things to break. he then hung up the phone on me when I asked for his information. I contacted amazon for a refund and they have filed a claim against the seller. buyer beware!

Review: We purchased outdoor furniture from this company approximately a year and a half ago. We noticed that the furniture was beginning to fail approximately 4-6 months after setting it outside. The ottomans were completely failing. We contacted the company and our request for refund were rebuffed. Now all components are failing and are unsafe to use.

Dear Customer Service,

The furniture that we purchased from Urban Furnishings continues to split and fail per our October 9, 2015 complaint below. The failures are not limited to just the coffee tables as your customer service representative maintained was the only possible failure, rather all surfaces that are exposed to the southern sun. The furniture is not safe to use. A full refund of $4,992.30 is the only acceptable solution. See the photos attached and we too can make the space available to you for inspection and pickup.

This furniture is being used in a landscape architecture demonstration garden and is an expensive embarrassment. We were brushed off by customer service the last time that we wrote Urban Furnishings about the observed failures a mere six months after receiving the products. We will pursue other means of reimbursement and damages should we not be able to resolve this situation amicabl
