Revdex.com:The issue was resolved after fact because no one followed up with me until my 3rd phone call. I will not be purchasing any other items from urban furniture and will not be recommending there business to anyone else going forward.

claims with items received . Ms. [redacted] contacted us 18 days after her date of purchase about an issue with her bed post.In an effort to accommodate Ms. [redacted] circumstances, we contacted the manufacturer Ashley Furniture and ordered a new post to exchange for Ms. [redacted] at no charge. Ms. [redacted] was contacted when her replacement piece came in to schedule a pick up time.  As Ms. [redacted] had originally picked up her item, she was informed she would need to bring in and return the original post in order to exchange for replacement piece. Our records indicate that Ms. [redacted] completed her exchange of her post on 4/07/2015 and this issue was closed.We have included a copy of the sales order that highlights the policy on making claims with any defects as well as a copy of the exchange ticket indicating this issue was resolved.

Review: I purchased an Ashley Furniture King Size bed in March 2015 and I rented a Uhaul for $36 which was 1/3 of what they charge for delivery. I went to assemble the bed 2 weeks after I picked it up because I am doing a light amount of remodeling. When I went to assemble the bed frame the Bed Post have pre-installed brackets that the head board is attaches to, but the brackets where not aligned so once I assembled the bedframe the headboard wasn’t horizontal it was on a slant, so obviously I called Urban Furniture and they asked me to email them the with pictures showing the issue. I was in touch with someone name Jim and he called back hours later and said it wasn’t a problem they could exchange the product I just had to wait 2 days until they had it sent from their other location in Dover, DE. I called 3 days later to confirm they had received the bedframe post in the store and I was told to bring the old post in, which I was not able to do because I have a small car so I asked if they could drop off the correct pieces since it is not fault of mines and they could take the defective pieces with them, I was told there would be a $70 delivery fee, which I then asked if they could waive the fee because again it was a manufacture defect and I don’t feel as though I should have to pay any type of fee to have something replace especially since it is nowhere in the terms and conditions that there is a fee to replace defective items or that a delivery fee would be charged to replace a defective item.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the bed post delivered to my home free of charge and I will give them back defective bed post in the original packaging.

Review: I bought furniture and didn't have it a full month before it tore along the seam. The furniture had only been sat on 4 times, due to me still moving from my other house. I called to see what I could do about this, having spent over $1200, and I was told there is nothing I can do. I am stuck with the furniture, and sorry for my luck! I sent the store picture as they instructed, and the store manager said I would have to repair it myself, even though it clearly shows that the tear is along the seam.Desired Settlement: I want Urban Furniture to fix the problem tear or send me a new piece.

Thank you for following up on this issue. •we have received notice on 04/28/2015 from Dr. [redacted] that there was an issue with an item that he received on 3/27/2015. As our sales order indicates, we told Dr. [redacted] that there was a 7 day window to make any claims with a defect and we were w¢ll past that window of 7 days. The manufacturer does not offer an extended warranty on spiit seams and as the sales order indicates that are no extended warranties unless othenvise statep.In an effort to accommodate Dr. [redacted] circumstances, we offered a replacement case cover free of charge from the manufacturer to replace the item that he is concerned with. This item shou]d be installed by.a professional upholsterer at his expense as it is not covered under warranty. If that is acceptable, we are willing to obtain this replacement cashing for Dr. [redacted].We also included a copy of the sales order that highlights the policy on making claims with anydefects.
