Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Does anyone want to ask why they had to replace the engine.....it's because they were supposed to put a brand new rebuilt engine in the car as part of the restoration When we took it to a shop to deal with some of the countless issues we've had with the vehicle the mechanic brought to our attention he did not believe it was a newly rebuilt engineHe offered to do a compression test which failed measurably We brought it to the attention of urban gearsTo their credit, they did not fight it because the results of the compression test were indisputable, but their excuse was lame...."we used a new vendor." Keep in mind a mechanic who looked at the vehicle for the first time was able to recognize it was not a newly rebuilt engine, so at best the urban gears team can be accused of being grossly incompetent Would anyone like to see a side by side comparison of the undercarriage of the vehicle relative to what they showcase on their site as a frame off restoration Would anyone like to see pictures of shotty weld jobs, rust, overspray and paint chipping that should not be acceptable when you pay north of $70k for a restored vehicle Wouldn't you agree a $70k+ restoration should be damn near perfect? Bottom line is we have had four different shops work on this vehicle since we took position of it and they all politely tell us we got ripped off.......happy to refer you to any of them to talk to before you lay down a deposit It sucks we got screwed, just don't want anyone else to get screwed Brennan, come back with another snarky comment and I can go into more detail on the specific issues that continue to plague us Sincerely, [redacted]

Urban Gears does not warranty parts for a 1970's bronco. The only item that is carries a warranty is the engine. In this case, there was an issue with the engine after the buyer received it. Urban Gears had a new engine sent within 3 days. Also, Urban Gears paid in full for the engine install at a...
