The owners of this business hereby apologize to Mr***. Mr *** requested a refund of his $membership fee and was immediately given his refund in cash. Mr*** was at the gym at the same time that Pitbulls and Friends Dog Rescue hosted a 3-hour dog adoption
event on the sidewalk outside the gym

Review: Urban Body Fitness without notification to its members incorporated into its personal fitness gym a pit bull rescue/adoption agency. This gym is a small facility and there are at times now upwards of 5-12 pit bulls on location in varying degrees of socialization. Most have been abused. they are noisy and distractive and urinate with frequency in the gym. I tried to have a reasonable conversation with [redacted] (the owner), concerning the health and safety issues with this situation. He yelled at me and called me "insensitive" and "hated dogs", and that if I didn't like it I "should go somewhere else. I have been a member since this establishment opened. I expressed my concerns again to Mr. [redacted] ( witnessed by his employee [redacted]), but he was not concerned in the least with my concerns of health and safety. I ended my membership, asked for my refund, of which he practically threw at me and I left. Mr. [redacted] followed me all the way to my car in an intimidating fashion mumbling something unintelligible, but I did not engage and drove off. In UBF's mission statement there words are, "treat the world with the attention and respect you want for yourself". I got disrespect, and lack of any concern for my well being and happiness. If the Health Department has not already been contacted, they should, as there are real health and safety issues at this business.Desired Settlement: The owners of this business at minimum owe me any official apology for their behavior towards me. They also owe there members assured health and safety while using their facility.
