Review: The item purchased is a sofa. The sofa was purchased in February of 2014. The sofa is of inferior material. My husband and myself rarely use the sofa. The problem is that a button on the sofa popped off when someone simply sat on the sofa. The button ended up on the floor and could have been picked up by my son and choking him had I not noticed it. This was late april when it occurred. It's not the fact that the button came off, it's the fact that the button came off without any effort save what the sofa is supposed to be used for which is sitting on it AND that the button was from the bottom side of the cushion, a part of the sofa that no one uses or touches! The buttons are attached through the cushions to buttons on the "flipped" top side of the cushions.The material on the bottom side is a very thin material and not able to support the buttons as it rips easily and should never have been used to restrain or support a button. The cheap material is almost like a fabric dryer sheet. Could you imagine attaching a button to a dryer sheet and expecting it to hold? Several other buttons are about to come off as the material is ripping. My worry is that all of the buttons will pop off and I will not see the one that ends up in my sons mouth to choke him. I have contacted the manager named Kit, who is extremely unprofessional. He suggested my son pulled it off. My son is not a year old and CANT GET ON THE SOFA! After Over a month of back and forth with Kit, he decided to offer me 10% off the purchase. This sofa cost $1000, I'm sorry but a $1000 hardly used sofa should not have a button pop off. The furniture set it replaced lasted for nearly 15 years and was given to family members as it looks brand new, and since it did not have a button fall off I can say was in much better shape than this sofa.Desired Settlement: I either want a refund or a replacement. I would rather the refund and not have this sofa of inferior quality.
