This business is a sham *** *** was scheduled to come to my house She called minutes into the session to say she was in a fender bender We rescheduled, she never came She emailed me to ask for my address She claimed she went to the wrong address She never showed up I called to ask for a refund and she said she would have to look into it, because she made attempts to come to my home I haven't heard from her since although I had sent several emails, text and phone messages This behavior is unacceptable and a disgrace to this business

This business is a sham. [redacted] was scheduled to come to my house. She called minutes into the session to say she was in a fender bender. We rescheduled, she never came. She emailed me to ask for my address. She claimed she went to the wrong address. She never showed up. I called to ask for a refund and she said she would have to look into it, because she made attempts to come to my home. I haven't heard from her since although I had sent several emails, text and phone messages. This behavior is unacceptable and a disgrace to this business.

Review: I signed up my for services with urbane academics for tuting services the first three classes were canceled or no one showed up.also the numbers that were giving no one answers the phone I paid 50 dollars to start.Desired Settlement: Would like a total refund

Review: Propietor of company [redacted] missed several tutoring sessions after being paid for them in advance. She did not notify me that she would not attend. In fact, when I attempted to reach her by phone, text or email there was no response for about 2 weeks. She finally sent out an email stating the reason for her absence and that she would refund monies owed to the clients that did not intend on continuing with her services. She has claimed several times that she has sent me a refund either via [redacted] or personal check or a money order. I have never received any refund to date by any of these methods.Desired Settlement: Kindly refund me the $160.00 owed for services not rendered as you agreed to do

Review: She never showed up and does not answer her telephone. The common core is in a couple of weeks and I have not receive my refund. Poor excuses for a business person. I hate that someone who is an educator conduct themselves in this matter. She also went into my account and withdrew money without permission.Desired Settlement: Return my money , services were not provided.

Review: [redacted] in her Summer Enrichment program offered my son: - Breakfast & Lunch provided by Red Rabbit Lunches (but what they got was mcDonald's and Burger King) - Full remediation (reading, math and writing) and therapeutic instruction (including all materials as well as cognitive behavioral therapy & executive functioning therapy). (She would only take him to the library and park everyday) - After 4 weeks of attending she would write up a plan of action, and evaluation for my son and write up his report to provide to his school. (3 weeks after the class finished I haven't received anything) - Re-test (reading & math levels for my son). I was never given results if it did happen. - For a a weekly fee is $150.00 My son attended the class from July*-August *. She suspended 3 classes July **, **, ** which she did not offer make-up classes and her contract says that if not offered she would reimburse the monies for those days. I haven't received a penny. I've emailed her but she has not responded or even sent an excuse for her delay. School starts next week and I have NOTHING!Desired Settlement: I want her to provide me with all the work that my son did as she had promised. I need the plan of action, evaluations (including the Brown Scales) and the report to provide my son's school. She has to refund $75 for the classes she cancelled.

I am responding to the complaint filed but [redacted] of Floral Park, New York. [redacted] initially reached out to us in January of 2013. When the summer enrichment program was available, [redacted] responded and enrolled her child.

[redacted] stated that she would have her child attend classes from July *-August *.
