My son (** ***) was seen for a routine eye exam on *** by *** *** I was told to make an appointment with *** ** to get fundus photo's taken to have an accurate measurement of his eye cupping The soonest appointment I could get was *** at the location I needed After the appointment I received a bill in the mail for *** After looking the bill over I noticed they charge me for a full comprehensive eye exam again They only told me to make this appointment to get the photo's done not to do an eye exam over again that he just had done months ago I have called several times and spoke to many different people explaining I was only told we were getting photo's done to keep on file They continue to tell me I owe the money for the eye exam even though I was never told about it
My health insurance provides for one refractive eye exam per year with no payment by me to the provider Virginia Eye institute is an authorized provider On October 25, Virginia Eye Institute charged me $for such an exam despite my protests I contacted Virginia Eye Institute by email and they refused to refund the illicit charge
Terrible Terrible TerribleWaited almost a half an hour to be checked in then another hour to be seenThe lady that came in before the doctor was nice enoughBut DrC*** had ZERO bedside mannerI was never told they wanted to dialate my daughters eyes or I would have made an afternoon appointmentThey kept telling me I could come back later in the spring to have it done...and then said he wouldn't write her a prescription without itAs we were discussing this he rolled his eyes at me and then looked at the ceilingA grown man acting like a childI ended up having them do it today, but I will NEVER EVER go back! It took over 1/hours for our appointment
