Review: The Bank Manager at the [redacted] Branch motivated me to switch my checking account from my previous bank because she informed me that they do not place any fees on if I am overdrawn in my checking account they just pull it from my savings with no fees included. I was complaining about my previous bank fees with this process. So during March 31-April 12 they pulled out money from my savings and placed it into my checking account but charged me over $to in fees to do this. I spoke with the Ms. [redacted] Manager and he said although this is true he will not reverse the fees. If someone would of told me I can only have them pull money from one account to the other 6 times a month free and after that they charge me then I would of just moved the money myself but since the manager of the bank informed me that they NEVER charge any fees did not prompt me to do this. It is unethical to try to get new customers by lieing to them and then charging them fees because I was told that it is not refundable and the fees helps supports the lifeline of the credit union. They are unethical and deceiving and I do not make money to give freely to a bank that is suppose to provide a service.Desired Settlement: To refund a majority or all of my fees that they charged by manipulating me into believing there were no charges that would be placed on my account then going back and charging me fees.

In response to complaint [redacted]:As a courtesy, we will be reimbursing the fees in their entirety that were charged during the timeframe of 4-1-16 through 4-12-16. Our financial institution falls under Regulation D. An excerpt from our Truth In Savings disclosure that is given to every new member states: 6. Account Limitations For share, traditional IRA, Money Market Savings, and Asset Purchase Plan accounts, no more than six preauthorized, automatic, or telephone transfers may be made from these accounts to another account of yours or to a third party in any month. If you exceed these limitations, your account may be subject to a fee or be closed. Please be advised there are fees associated with insufficient funds transactions on your share draft account. We will be emailing another new member disclosure for your future reference.
