US A/C & Heating Refrigeration Corp.

Hello, since 1/24/14 thru 4/8/14 I have paid out of pocket 1,747 for parts, labor, trip charges for AC unit. Told on 4/8 can't fix unit cost 5,900.
I bought a brand new AC unit in 2008 for 5,000 from U.S.Air. Since 1/24/14 THRU 4/8/14 I have paid out of pocket $1,747 for trip charges/parts/labor for my AC unit.I pay $ 89.00 a year for a Service arrangement which includes two visits no trip charges and 15% on parts and labor. ( I have yet to see that )In Jan 8, 2014 a Service man named[redacted] told me that the unit needed several things done to it so I told him to tell me what it needs. It cost out of pocket $ 1,279. Jeremiah said he would be back out in June 2014 and if there was any problems he would fix at no cost ( repeat NO COST). Instead he showed up at my house( two months earlier ) on April 8th 2014 and came to my door and said the unit is low on Freon and there might be a leak.( I did not call for a Service man ). There was nothing wrong with the unit until 4/8/14. He told me that there would be a charge to check to see if there was a leak plus any other fees and then said you really need a new unit at the cost of 5,900.He wanted a check for $79.00 ( that I wrote ) The Service man got me all worked up I am 83 years old and a widow of 10 years.I told him to leave and not come back. On 4/11/14( 3 days later ) I contacted another licensed AC repair Co. and they came out and said that the Freon was low but there was not a leak. The repair man said the AC filter was old and he fixed some minor things put new freon in and charged $300.00 a big difference from 5,900 for a new unit.My AC unit is working just fine. I have been scammed by a U.S. Air Service Tech. I want people to know about this abuse. Thank you Mrs[redacted]
