exceptional service, and remains committed to its growing base of customers. As of October 2013, USAgencies Low Cost Auto Insurance operates solely as an insurance agency, and as such, is not affiliated with any individual insurance company.  As an independent insurance agency, USAgencies offers auto insurance from several national and regional insurance companies. A review of our records indicates that our customer, Ms. [redacted], on March 3, 2016, purchased policy No. [redacted], effective March 3, 2016, with a policy expiration of September 2, 2016, and chose to finance the policy premium and make monthly installments.  Our records further indicate that a written request was made by our customer, and the unaffiliated insurance company cancelled Ms. [redacted]’s policy effective 12:01 a.m. on March 8, 2016.  A request to cancel insurance generally must be in writing and must be effective on the current date, or effective on a date requested in the future.  Based on the unaffiliated insurance company’s cancellation and return cancel premium, a refund check of $19.00 was issued and mailed to Ms. [redacted] on April 4, 2016.  Upon receipt of Ms. [redacted]’s e-mail dated April 13, 2016, indicating that she intended to void the insurance policy completely, we provided a request to the unaffiliated insurance carrier to void Ms. [redacted]’s insurance policy.  While the unaffiliated insurance company has not yet agreed to void the insurance policy, to show good faith, USAgencies has issued and mailed via overnight mail a refund to our customer on April 18, 2016, for the full amount of the premium she paid.  We are now seeking reimbursement from the unaffiliated insurance company. We understand that this issue is now fully-resolved with our customer.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]
This company's response is bogus and full of lies. I have already submitted all the emails to back up my testimony. I did a written request for cancellation of the policy via email sent to me by not signing and agreeing to the policy. I requested within the same day a cancellation of the policy from the same agent. But she ignored my request for days, leading me to go into a local branch to cancel out the policy that I never signed agreeing to in the first place. I only gave my verbal agreement over the phone and written request by email to Ms [redacted]. But she ignored my request to  cancelled it the same day and left the office. I called the agent and emailed the agent. She never responded back. She knew I had a period of time to cancel. My hands were tied, because she refused to do her job. I never heard back from this agent. And was denied help when I called her office in Opelika. USAgencies Representation is horrible and vindictive. They have treated me with not even a ounce of respect. They have failed to be who they say they are founded on, a people of integrity. I have spoken with several agents from this company and all I can say is that I am disappointed. After speaking and trying to get the regional manager to do what was right, I had to call different complaint business to get justice. Even the Government. After that the same regional manager who was very very rude called me back apologizing and freely giving me the rest of the money they knew they owed me back. They were nasty to me for no reason at all. That's the whole reason why I decided to cancel in that same day. I realize that the Agent who gave me the quote was not such a good person after I gave her the benefit of the doubt. And neither are those who I spoke with representing USAgencies that I spoke with. They were all uncaring and concerned with their own agenda. Bad business. I am satisfied, because someone else had to make this company do the right thing. Terrible that they were not willing.
