Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:It is a waste of my timeThey claim that the person that scheduled my cleaning for $is not a technician and could not possibly know the condition of my air ductsBut he or she should obviously know that the recommended work could increase the charges, and he or she should have warned me of that possibilityThey told me that they would clean my air ducts for $It was not conditional They did not say that they would do it for that amount only if my air ducts had been cleaned within the past few yearsHad they informed that the cleaning could cost more than $39, I would have told them not to come to my home. This is such an obvious bait-and-switch scam, that I am confident the Revdex.com will see it for what it isWas I a fool to fall for it? Yes, of course I wasBut fortunately for me, the law protects consumers from high-pressure in-home salesmenThat is why the law allows for a 3-day right to rescind contracts signed in the home, and I have exercised that right. My offer to pay the $that has already been charged to my credit card is extremely generous considering that I could insist on the original quoted price of $39.This dispute process is consuming significant amounts of my time, but it will be time well spent if I can stop these scammers from ripping off other unsuspecting homeowners
Sincerely,

Complaint: *** To Whom it May Concern;I find US Air Ducts latest response to me, to be not only unprofessional, but demeaningThe response is written in a defensive and accusatory manner. Since I find myself in a place where I have to defend my former responses, I will do that, and then I no longer wisher to correspond with this company. You state, "Yes, the Revdex.com will also be getting our side of the story". At what point in any of my correspondence did I limit your ability to respond, or make any kind of statement about my side of the story, being the only side? I have never in my life, placed a compliant with the Revdex.com, so I felt I needed to be detail oriented in my outline of what took place. The reason I mentioned the pricing conversation, was to validate my opinion of US AIr Ducts, being a company that would take advantage of a clientWhat company charges $for a service they are willing to negotiate all the way down to $475? It was my opinion that this was the first red flag, that I should have walked away from doing business with you. You reference that "the roofer was kind enough to fix PART of your issue for free"I take offense to such a commentFirst of all, how my leak was resolved is absolutely none of your business, as it was not any part of my compliantHowever, since you feel you have the right to address the issue, I would like you to know that I pay HOA dues, which cover exterior maintainence of the property and thus, there was no charge to have the leak fixed. At the end of your email, you somehow come to the conclusion that "my complaints are all over the place"How do you even come to this conclusion? My compliant from my very first email, was about the fact that I paid for a service to have my air ducts scrubbed and residue removed, and after your techs were in my home, the residue issue became worseThis has nothing to do with price, a leak, or a vent that I already knew was disconnected. I would say that you are the one with complaints and side stories that go in every possible direction, outside of my original complaint. At this point, I am so tired of arguing with you, being talked down to, and having to continually discuss the same issues with you, over and over. Bottom line is this….I find your company to be highly unprofessional and I would never in good conscience recommend you to anyone, nor would I ever allow you back in my home. You can keep your moneyMy time is too precious to waste on continuing to correspond with you. ***

I did not say that YOUR home was cleaned in minutesI simply explained what the coupon entailsOur technician gave you a QUOTE for deeper cleaningThe furnace doors can be off, again we go from the supply vents for the basicThe dryer cleaning is a free service I apologize if it was over lookis preformed from the outside (sometimes customers do not see us physically do this, as they expect to see the dryer moved)We have technicians that physically live in ColoradoYes, the van and equipment belongs to our company, so yes, the license plate is WA(We operate like Comcast does, our techs have our vans and equipment to go home with, we dispatch them from their place of residence to service locally) not sure why the size or the make of the vehicle has anything to do with air duct cleaningWe do not drive through states, we provide services for specific states we have technician living inThe negative air pressure machine fits in the vehicle and so does the equipmentThe semantics to argue with over the van, have nothing to do with the service we can provideI again am sorry you are unsatisfied with the coupon valueIt as I stated before is a basic cleaning of the supply vents to a single furnaceYour coupon also states at the bottom "restrictions" applyOur tech gave you a quote you did not want that deeper cleaning, we hooked up the Negative Air Pressure machine (as you stated) and you were charged the basic priceWe hope you can find another quote for deeper cleaning as our tech stated you needed it that better suits your needs and price range and we wish you the best of luck

Our response remains the sameThe job was performedWe cleaned the blower motor, as well as additional components of Ms*** furnace, as stated on Ms*** invoiceWe sent another company out to fix the issue with the motor being off balance and paid for this, and if they found a bit of dust left over, regardless they cleaned it and we paid for it.If Eddie was late, the issue was resolvedWe apologize for the inconvenience, of him being late, and the rescheduling and issues with Ms*** texting and calling him instead of us the company. The only settlement we are willing to accept to resolve this issue and move on, would be that Ms*** pay her remaining balance in full, within days from today (June 12, 2017)We would be willing to discount her from $to $However, if this is not an option are statement remains the same and MsWood's will be sent to collections by June 15, for $496.08.Thank you for reviewing my above response.Lauren M.AGM

I would like to apologize again, for the register cover issue you haveAs the email, (sent on 2/1/2018, in reply to your complaint sent by you on 1/29/and with the pictures sent)We cannot be responsible for a “dry wall issue” (please refer to email thread and pictures) This is not a bait and
switchI have given an example or what this Bait and Switch means from Merriam-Webster’s definition and example: “John Doe sees an ad in the paper for $orange juice at a local retailerHe goes to the store and finds out that the juice is not in stock and that the retailer is only offering a competitor's brand for $4.” “If the retailer has intentionally run the ad without having the item in stock, this is bait and switchThe idea behind the tactic is to do whatever it takes to get people into the storeIn our example, the $orange juice is the baitThe switch occurs when a salesperson, or in this case, the grocery store shelf, informs the customer that the advertised item is not available but a similar one is available at a higher price.” Fortunately, we run a coupon that advertises Negative Air Pressure CleaningWe not only, can perform this cleaning, and come into your home with the intent, and equipment for this advertised cleaningYou by no means are obligated to sign, pay or receive any additional cleaning that is offeredWe will, and do, always preform the negative air-pressure cleaningWe understand that people have “buyer’s remorse” or have poor understanding of how bad their air ducts truly areHowever, if we offer more services, it is because 100% of the time this is neededIn your case, your ducts were in very poor condition and our technician informed you of thisThe "basic" coupon cleaning would not do anything for the condition they were in. Regardless, we can, and did remove chargesWe have already talked to you and apologized, your complaint was never that you were “unaware” about the UVC installation, unfortunately this is untrueWe have already removed this unit from your home regardless and cancelled your membership (please see attached statement sent on January 5, 2018)Not only did we remove the UVC and cancelled your VIP membership, we removed an additional $Please refer to your invoice (Membership was $and UVC was $300, install was $50.00; totaling $475.00)We removed in total $We never heard a response back from you that you did not agree to the settlementWe apologize the register cover is not able to remain on your dry -wallWe feel the additional discount that was already applied will cover any cost that you will need to secure or fix the drywallUnfortunaly, we can not refund; and will continue to purse charges owed for the cleaning that was done on December 29,

To Whom It May Concern,I will be responding to this complaint in the same fashion Ms
*** has, directing the responses to her directlyI apologize in advance for having to review this againNothing has
changed from my initial response, other than breaking down responses to now the second
complaint here.1.“The technician started with an offer of $for the service,
but after I reviewed his competitors on google, hereduced the fee to $475, which was still
$more than anyone else, but since he was already in my home, I let himproceedHe competed the job, and left my
residence, the same day.”Why mention this if this is not a complaint in and of itself? You stated pricing, I responded to pricingYou called our office upset about pricing, please refer to receptionist notesYes, the Revdex.com will also be getting our side of the story, especially if you have mentioned this on this forum2.“March
13th, I had another maintenance man in my home, from Carlson Roofing in my home,
to check on a small water leak in my attic crawl space, that
was originally brought to my attention by the US Air Duct CleaningrepresentativeThe Carlson Roofing tech
told me that the he felt the leak was coming from the air duct, and afterinspecting the air duct from the dryer, he
pulled several large, wet *** of dryer lint, from the vent itselfHe statedthat he checked a few other vents, and they
were full of residue.”You had/have an issue with your air ducts themselvesAs our tech noted and then the “roofer” was kind enough to fix PART of your issue for freeWe do not do repairs for freePlease also refer to our reception notes that stated you called and referred to the issue, therefore designates a responseIf you write a complaint to the Revdex.com it is my job to responded with the whole picture, not just what you decide you want to talk aboutThere are two sides to this storyYou mentioned this on the Revdex.com and on your call back to our officeIf you had a problem with the actual service done why would you mention anything other than your dryer vent and the amount of money you paid(please refer again to the notes take on March 17, 2017.”3.“had issues with
my air ducts, prior to our company coming out”What issue(s) is she referring
to? I am unaware of any prior issues, expect for the leak in the attic space,
which again, was not the foundation of my complaint.”Please refer to the invoice, our tech stated you had poor air flow in one of the rooms-this is a problem as in, you have a disconnected vent/ a hole or something in there clogging the ventAgain, if you mention it to the Revdex.com you will get a response, whether you indicate it as the actual problemMy son and I have suffered from allergies due to this and
the cleaning in never endingI called US Air Duct, after Carlson Roofing was at my
home, and was told that they would not come back out to my home to re-clean the
vents and
that I would need to purchase an upgraded package from themI already spent
$for a service that left my vents in worse shape, than before they cleaned themI was left
with an empty pocketbook and a serious cleaning issue. Please again refer to the reception notes, the complaint was about what you had paid.“I called US Air Duct, after Carlson
Roofing was at my home, and was told that they would not come back out to myhome to re-clean the vents and that I would
need to purchase an upgraded package from them” “I cannot trust this company to come back
into my residence, but I also must have this vent issueresolved”Please again refer to the reception notes, the only package offered to you was to clean your DRYER vent that exhausts to the roofYes, there is a fee small $for dis-attaching your dryer, moving it, and reattaching your dryerAgain, your complaint is not being deflected, your complaint(s) are all over the placeYou are upset you still have residue, but when you called our company it was not for this complaintNOW, you are complaining the job was done poorlyBUT you won’t allow us back is your residenceYou need your vent issue resolved, yet deny that is a problemBut want a full refund for this issueYou have residue but won’t allow us to inspect thisUnfortunatly, no company, will issue a refund if they are not allowed to see that what your issue is, and that it actually has anything to do with what we didI am sorry but please refer to the back of the signed invoice. If you would like to have a technician out to your home free of charge to inspect the work done or re-clean, we can set that up.“I am requesting a
full refund for the service I requested, and if that is not an option, then I
wish to leave this complaint as “un-resolved” and would give this company an F
rating.”I do not feel you are looking for resolutionThere will be no refund givenWe have tried to resolve this issueAgain, if you would like to have a technician out free of charge to inspect or re-clean anything you have paid for you have this optionSincerely,Lauren M.AGM

I am sorry
to hear that Ms*** was unsatisfied with his experience on March 11,
Ms*** was provided services from our technician DavidYes, when Ms***
was quoted prices for work, Ms*** stated she found quotes for a cheaper
amount that yes, our technician could match price
and provide those servicesI
am at a loss to what the problem in that isRegarding
the “leak,” I have attached Ms***’s invoice #***, on the left-hand side,
you can see that in the section under “Other Recommendations,” our technician,
as Ms*** stated, told Ms*** that not only does she have a leak but
there was poor air flow in one of her bedrooms(please refer to invoice where
this is hand written by our technician)When Ms
*** called our company on March 17, 2017, (please refer to our reception
notes) Ms*** told our receptionist what the roofer had told herAgain,
please refer to invoice provide by our technicianMs*** was offered to
have our company come out free of charge to inspect the work done, as she
stated she did not want us to come back outThe upgraded package refers to the
dryer vent that exhausts on her roof and for her two disconnected vents(We do
not do repairs, for free)Ms***
has/had issues with her ducts prior to our company coming out, she was quoted
prices to fix, she chose to go with another companyShe has not contacted us
since March ,We cannot give any refund for work done and completed,
because she chose to go with another companies offer after the factIf Ms
*** would like, as stated before, and as the back of her signed invoice
statesWe can come back out to her residence to inspect the work done and even
reclean any ducts that may or may not have been missed somehow free of changeThank you
in advance for again reviewing our documentation.Sincerely,Lauren M.AGM

This is in response to Revdex.com Complaint ***The fact of the the matter is my carpet was cut four inches without my permission I am planning on replacing this carpet but not until next spring or summer at the earliest Also about my concern
for the antique radio/phonograph which is an actual piece of furniture with doors There is aging to this piece of furniture as it is from the era, but that does not give this company permission to set their equipment on top of it to cause unnecessary damage in the form of gouges that were not there previously They took pictures twice not just the one time Said the first were not clear enough So they were aware of the damage at the same time they were informed about the carpet In picture number that was referred to, it is not the small scratch that was my concern, it is the white colored gouge in the center of the picture This gouge is 1/inch long The check for the return of the furnace filter was not delayed in being sent out because they were waiting to make a decision on the other damage From the beginning I was informed there would be no compensation In fact, the manager on my last conversation with him actually accused me of trying to get money from his company and hung up on me This is not about the money, it is lack of consideration for others property when they are supposed to be in business to service The last call I made to this company to find out if my $check was sent yet was July 26, It had not, but they informed me it would be sent that same day and I asked them to call me when it was in the mail, which the did. The option for a re-measure on the furnace filter did not happen I simply stated I was returning the filter for a refund as it was not the right size and the workers took it with them on the spot. They brought in small squares of thin magnets, like a refrigerator advertising magnets but larger to supposedly cover all the vents not being cleaned They not only did not cover the vents but the magnets fell off when they tried to make them work My vents are wall vents Therefore nothing blocked the vents that were not being cleaned The vacuum system they used on the first vent inside the front door was just set next to the vent and was not even close to an airtight seal The cover was not removed from this ventThey may have loosened the built up dirt but it was not expelled to their vacuum system I tested my furnace and small balls of dirt blew out from almost every vent I encourage all future potential customers who are considering vent cleaning to please review all the reports on US Air Dusts before deciding on a company for this service Their reviews and complaints seem to be in excess I wish I had checked the Revdex.com before hiring them Sincerely* *

Ms***,You had services on 9/27/2017, you paid $On 10/23/(a month later) you called and stated your furnace was/is making a very loud noiseWe sent a technician out free of charge on 10/31/to see what was the issueWhen our technician was there he explained to you that it was
not something we cause, we cleaned your return, did a tu(vacuumed the furnace) offered a free replacement lifetime filter (which you declined)Our technician had spoken to David the GM while at your homeYou requested a call from a manager on 10/31/I called and left you a voicemail on 10/31/Did not hear back until 11/1/when you stated no one had called you. We spoke on 11/1/and I stated the same thing the technician stated on 10/31/2017, we did not cause damage to your furnaceYou were upset, and we understood thisI requested at that time you speak directly to David. You spoke to David same day on 11/1/Again, we stated the same thingWe told you that we can send out our contactorDavid issued you a refund or $60.00, because we understood that you are having personal issues and we wanted to help. Our contactor visited your home and when he was there he confirmed it was the motor bearings that are bad, which is from years of hard workAgain, this has nothing to do with us and is not our faultAgain, we refunded you $even though it was not our fault, we heard your story and felt it was the right thing to do given your personal situationWe sent our contractor and even explained your situation to him and asked him to give you a discounted rate (which he did a $discount) that he was not obligated to doWe apologize that you have/had any issue with your furnaceOur technician explained this to you, I explained this to you, David explained this to you and our contractor confirmed this, that nothing we did caused your bearings on your furnace to be bad.We suggest you please research how a “blower motor” in your furnace works, what the bearings do and how time/wear is the only thing that caused the damage to your furnace and to re-tract this complaint with the Revdex.comI have attached a link to YouTube about motor bearingshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txhJYwaguNcTo state that we gave you “bad service” is untrue and we will not be agreeing to the disputed amount of $Respectfully,Lauren M.AGM

I am sorry that Mr*** was unsatisfied with his experience on January 25, Mr*** did contact our office for service on January 10, 2017, to make an appointment for a coupon he had received for a $cleaningWith this promotion, there is a free furnace inspectionUpon, our
technician’s inspections he did find that there was dust and debris in Mr***’s furnaceAt this time, our technician did take a photo to show Mr***I would like to note that Mr*** stated he has his furnace serviced by additional companies, prior to our visitI cannot speak for what work was done, or not done, by these companiesHowever, we stand by our technician that Mr***’s furnace was indeed needing to be cleanedTherefore, yes, our technician had given a free estimate to have additional cleaning done, which at the time, Mr*** declinedIn regards to the photo, unfortunately our technicians are not required to keep photos on their personal devices of past customer’s furnacesTherefore, we do not have the photo of Mr***’s blower motor to provideHowever, as stated above, we stand by our technician, that indeed the photo provided day of, was indeed Mr***’s furnaceThere is not a chance that our technician would show a photo of someone else furnace, or put dirt insideWe understand that coming into someone’s home and stating that work was not complete, by another company, prior to our visit; can feel invasive and can make a customer uncomfortableWe would like to offer Mr*** a full refund for the basic air duct cleaning, in the amount of $We stand by our policy and procedures and if a customer is unsatisfied, we encourage them to take the matter to us directlyWe encourage Mr*** to contact our office and we would be more than happy to issue his refund thenI have enclosed a copy of her invoice; ***Sensitive information has been redacted.Thank you in advance for again reviewing our documentation.Sincerely,Lauren M.AGM

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:On April 30th 2017 we had a tech from US Air Ducts & Builders come out to clean our vents, we found out about the company from an coupon mailer we received. The tech showed up to our house on Sunday April 30th 2017 to do a simple vent cleaning and dryer vent check. While cleaning the vents he showed us that our cold air intakes were dirty as well, that it was an additional cost to clean them. He then told us that our motor was dirty and that if we signed up for a VIP membership that he would clean the cold air intakes, clean the blower motor, get us a top of the line air filter, a UV light to sanitize the air and that we would be able to have these services whenever we needed or wanted them for 5 years. We thought ok, and proceeded to have him "clean" ( and I use that term loosely) our equipment. He said he cleaned and lubed up the motor, and cleaned the cold air intakes. He said he would be back later that week as he had lubed the motor to do the sanitization, and to not turn on the system for a little bit to let the lube settle. So when I turned on the system the next morning the whole floor was vibrating and the furnace was making a clanging and banging noise. I tuned off the system and sent the tech a text message to find out if that was supposed to happen as our system worked perfectly fine prior to him touching it. He stated no and that he would call his office and have them call me to schedule a follow up visit to fix it. A full day went by and I heard nothing from the company. I called the company the next day to find out that they had not been informed of the issue. I rested the problem and was assured that Eddie, the tech, would be out that night after 6 as both my husband and I work. Eddie then called about 2:45 in the afternoon letting me know that he was on his way to my house. I told him that we were not available until 6pm and that his office had set the appointment for 6pm. He hung up and then I did not hear from him until after 7pm when I text him asking if he was still coming. He said he was over 40 min away and asked if he could come back the next day(which at this point was a Wed) to fix it. We agreed to that as it was already after 7:30pm at this time and the kids would be going to bed soon. Eddie then showed up on Wed with an attitude as he had gotten as he put it yelled at his boss for the error. He then proceed to state he did nothing to the blower motor and that because he had "cleaned" it that the motor was working overtime. He then started folding up cardboard to shove under the motor and asked my husband if he could cut up some of the wood we had on the side of the house to stabilize the motor so we could use it, he stated he had no idea what was wrong with it and that we would be contacted by the office letting us now that another company would be coming out to repair it. I called the office again and complained, asked to speak with the manager, who seems to never be in the office, and wanting my money back as I was dissatisfied with the services. The other company sent a tech out on Friday. That tech took a look at the system and showed us a filthy motor that looked like someone took a metal bush too to try and clean it, in that process moving the things that balance the motor, but not cleaning the motor (I have the pictures to back this claim). I have spoken with the office and they only want to offer a refund for the filter not received and the membership that we no longer want, but we still owe for services that we received, which we were informed at the time we signed up that these services were part of the membership for 5 years if we signed up. It was almost a week without a furnace/ac, hours of stress trying to get this problem that was created handled, services not done and what was done not done right(which according to the lady in the office they don't guarantee a completely clean a motor as they way they clean it they don't remove the motor) . I paid $180 and some change at the time of the service (the cold air service is as the lady in the office reminded me $110 and the vent cleaning with a free dryer vent check at $39, which is what we originally was only supposed to have done), which given the circumstances any reputable company would offer a full refund or leave it as is without requiring more money for things not done to an acceptable standard, creating problems, and then waiting over a week to have someone contact the me to say that we still owe them for services.
Sincerely,

To Whom It May Concern:I am rejecting this response because there was no offer to resolve this matter.  Additionally, based on the response of US Air Ducts, US Air Ducts still does not seem to understand what the problem is.  Let me break it down.My Expectations Were Simple.              My expectations were simple.  I accepted an offer for a Whole House Air Duct Cleaning for $69.  I expected US Air Ducts to come to my house.  I expected US Air Ducts to clean my whole house air ducts, as advertised.  Then, I expected to pay $69 when the Whole House Air Duct Cleaning was completed. No Misunderstanding.  US Air Ducts Advertisements Versus Service Received Is Incongruent.            I’m not sure how the advertisements could be misunderstood.  There are no footnotes.  There are no asterisks for clarification.  There is no language about limitations or exclusions.             One advertisement says, “Whole House Air Duct Cleaning.”  What is there to misunderstand?  Beyond that, your website doesn’t even offer brush and sanitizing services.  The sanitizing services were referenced on the phone call, as part of the $69 offer, when I called to clarify.  Your employee offered that over the phone and explained how the air ducts were cleaned.  I just needed each and every air duct in my house cleaned.  Yes, you performed negative air pressure.  Great.  Do that, so every air duct in the whole house is clean.  It is the essence of what you advertised as, “Whole House Air Duct Cleaning.”  US Air Ducts Is Missing the Main Point.            US Air Ducts is deflecting the point that the $200 was for additional services.  They purported the $200 was for another service.  Adi said he could not not clean the remaining air ducts unless I paid $200 (the 4 air ducts that he didn’t clean in the first place).  I was not going to pay a total of $269 ($69 I was quoted plus $200 for additional air ducts) for the same services that I was originally quoted for at $69. When I Confronted Eddie, He Said There Was Nothing He Could Do.            The Revdex.com response says that Ade tried to explain to me.  I was on the phone for nine minutes with the technician.  Adi the technician said in order to clean out the remaining air ducts in my system, I would have to pay $200.  There was no discussion about a brush. There was no discussion of sanitizing the system.  Ultimately, he said that I had discuss it with his boss.  So, I called US Air Ducts to ask why my 4 remaining air ducts were not being cleaned.            I was shocked and confused that it was going to cost an additional $200.  I asked what Adi was talking about.  I explained that I was quoted for a complete air duct system cleaning for $69.  He said the 4 vents I have will cost me an additional $200 to clean because return air ducts are different than other types of air ducts.  I explained that I agreed to have my entire house’s air duct system cleaned for $69, and the vents they are referencing are part of the house’s air duct and network.  Additionally, the air ducts are located right next to one another and would take a few moments to complete.  Adi offered to give me a discount of $15 per vent.  I declined because I was quoted $69 for the entire house’s air ducts.  I told him that I was relying on the company’s verbal agreement and online advertisements when I originally set up the appointment, that my entire air duct system would be cleaned for $69.  I told Adi that I was unable to pay until the services were completed as promised.  He said I would have to talk with someone at the office and he was “just doing his job.”             I asked whether he was an independent contractor for US Air Ducts.  Adi said “No” and he was working directly for US Air Ducts as an employee in the State of Utah; he also said the company was registered locally in the State of Utah.  While on the phone, I checked the Utah’s Secretary of State and discovered “US Air Ducts” and other business name variations do not exist in the State of Utah.            Adi said he could not finish the remaining 4 air ducts without paying $200.  So, Eddie left without cleaning the remaining air ducts.  Therefore, the whole house air duct cleaning was not completed. My Dryer Vent Was Not Cleaned Either.              I would like to point out that my dryer duct work was not cleaned, as stated in US Air Ducts advertisement and the response to the Revdex.com complaint I filed.  The invoice that Eddie left at the house, does not show the dryer vent was cleaned out.  When I returned home, the air dryer was not cleaned out.  So, again, here is another aspect of services that were described and promised one way, but when it came down to perform, it was not done.  I Did Not Ask for The House Vents to Be Brushed.              US Air Ducts Revdex.com complaint claims that I asked for the air ducts to be cleaned with a brush.  This is not the case, as I never mentioned anything in my complaint about cleaning with a brush.  However, since you brought it up, US Air Ducts Salt Lake City website states “We go the extra mile to ensure every bit of dust is clear from your ducts.”  I’m not sure how every bit of dust could be cleared, without running a duct brush through the inside of the duct work.Other Misstatements of Fact.            According to http://www.airductcleaning-saltlakecity.com, “US Air Ducts & HVAC has been helping homeowners save money on their energy costs since 2005.”  According to the Secretary of State of Washington, US Air Ducts & HVAC have only been doing business since 2014 – not 2005, as advertised on their website.Threatened to Send Me to Collections.              US Air Ducts also threatened to send me to collections and harm my credit, which would cause damage to me in long-lasting and meaningful ways.  I reluctantly paid $49 to prevent US Air Ducts from sending an erroneous bill to collections.  I did not pay for the $49 for services because – quite frankly – they were not completed. I find it ironic that US Air Ducts stated I was not forthcoming about expectations.  US Air Ducts set the expectations through their advertisements online and through the phone call I made when I set up the appointment.  I performed research, then called US Air Ducts for clarification BEFORE I made the appointment.  Then as the appointment was occurring, US Air Ducts informed me that I would have to pay $200 to clean the remaining air ducts.I’m glad to see that the Revdex.com already tied US Air Ducts to another business with similar complaint issues. Thanks, [redacted]

Please review the above documentation. Thank you.I am sorry
that Mrs. [redacted] was unsatisfied with her experience on June 1, 2017. Mrs.
[redacted] had an appointment with us on Thursday June 29, 2017. Mrs. [redacted] was
offered a promotional cleaning for $49.00.  Ms. [redacted] agreed to have our...

technician come
out and gave us her information to receive the cleaning. With this
promotion, there is a free furnace inspection. Upon, our technician’s
inspections he did find that there was dust and debris in Mrs. [redacted] furnace
and ducts. At that time, our tech provided Mrs. [redacted] an ESTIMATE sheet,
please see attachment. There you will find our tech’s handwriting for pricing
and Mrs. [redacted] signatures agreeing to additional work to be done in the
amount of $478.12.I have
provided the invoice 50122 for reference. Please be
advised:The invoice shows two signatures, the first Acknowledgment of Terms which authorizes performance to the address
referenced for service.  This also
acknowledges the agreement to the terms and conditions set forth on the reverse
side of the agreement with regard to these services or any additional services
authorized by Customer at the time these services are performed.  Customer also agrees to pay in full the
charges referenced above, including all applicable taxes, together with any
charge for additional services authorized by Customer at the time the services
are completed.  The second signature is
verification that they have inspected the work performed and found it to be
complete and to their satisfaction.  Mrs.
[redacted] has signed this agreement. We have been in contact with Mrs. [redacted] numerous times. We
cannot accept that because her brother looked at reviews on yelp that are both
good and bad. That this justifies a stop check. Mrs. [redacted] signed her invoice
and signed a check for the agreed amount. If she was feeling taken advantage,
she could have refused payment at time of service and/or not agreed to have
more work done at all. Unfortunatly, by signing an invoice (as stated above)
Ms. [redacted] agreed she wanted the work done and has obligated herself to pay
for those services. We tried to contact Mrs. [redacted] 8 days in a row as to why there
was a stop check placed on her payment. (A “bounce” would be insufficient
funds, and no stop check fee would be assigned. Ms. [redacted] stopped payment,
please see attachment to back of invoice). Once we did not hear from her, I
sent her a letter dated for August 1, 2017. There was no “stop check fee” if
there would be a resolution on/or by August 18, 2017. Ms. [redacted] called and
stated she only agreed to pay the $49.00 for no valid reason. Ms. [redacted] Final Notice with a stop check fee was dated for
August 21, 2017. There is now a stop check fee for $25.00 as stated on the back
of her signed invoice.  Ms. [redacted] now
owes $503.13 and is scheduled to be sent to collections by September 15, 2017
if no payment is made. Thank you
for reviewing the above documentation and if you have any further questions
please feel free to contact me directly.Thank you, Lauren MAGM[redacted]SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS REDACTED BY Revdex.com[redacted]

We have acknowledge this issue with Ms. [redacted] and have tried to send a Technician out to her home to inspect the issue. Unfortunately, no we do not have a manager that can come out to inspect. With that said we have been trying to communicate with the customer with either reimbursement or sending a...

technician out. We have been in contact with Ms. [redacted] via email. We would like to speak to her directly involving reimbursement. We ask that Ms. [redacted] give us a call as soon as possible to resolve this issue.
