appliances immediately that is why we need the appliances inspected thoroughly within the first hour of receipt. We feel that our one business day damage policy gives customers time to open the boxes and inspect their appliances to assure product satisfactionWe state this policy in numerous places to make sure the consumer is well informed of our policy in advance giving them peace of mind that regardless if box/packing damage is noted at delivery or not, they will be taken care of, as long as they follow our damage policy of one business day. Even though *** *** did not report damage to us until weeks after her delivery, we authorized the return of her range. We emailed her September 21, with return information which included to contact us once the range was picked up. Her pickup appointment is set for September 28th. Once we confirm the pickup, we will credit her in full for the range Thank you for your time and attention on this matter. US Appliance

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11547449, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.I greatly appreciate the offer to order a replacement door That is the only damaged piece Actually, it's just the glass I assume I will be able to handle the installation Will the glass or door be sent to my house? I will promise you that I will remove my reviews on Yelp and other sites if this is resolved.

We state this policy in numerous places (see below) to make sure the consumer is well informed of our policy in advance giving them peace of mind that regardless if box/packing damage is noted at delivery or not, they will be taken care of, as long as they follow our damage policy of one business day.                          24 HOUR DAMAGE POLICY PLACEMENT1.      On our website where cardholder made purchase.2.      In the email sent to cardholder confirming his order.3.      In the email sent to cardholder confirming when item shipped.4.      On cardholder’s invoice that was sent to him prior to shipping, *see below. *If an item arrives damaged during shipment, please note the damage on the delivery receipt and call us within 1 business day of receiving the shipment at [redacted] so that we can make arrangements for a return/replacement (at no cost to you). Do not install the item. Damaged returns need to be made in new, never installed and unused condition along with all product literature, original packaging materials and blank warranty cards. [redacted] placed his order March 29, 2016 and signed his delivery contract as “RECEIVED IN GOOD CONDITION, EXCEPT AS NOTED, AND SUBJECT SOLELY TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF CARRIER’S INDIVIDUAL AND COLLECTIVE TARFFS, INCLUDING LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY, AND THE UNIFORM STRAIGHT BILL OF LADING, NMFC 100 SERIES” on April 12, 2016.  We did not hear from [redacted] until May 6, 2016 stating the door glass in microwave was shattered.  Regretfully, we are unable to return his microwave but we did advise that he would be able to order a replacement door. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. US-Appliance
