Review: On April 18, 2014 I hired US Appliances Services from [redacted] to perform an inspection to see why our refrigerator was not generating cold air. First Manjit could not determine how to turn-off the power to our refrigerator so he started disconnecting and moving power wires around and caused a large spark that filled our kitchen with smoke. Not only did Manjit burnout the main motherboard but also caused other internal problems as well and now the refrigerator doesn’t work at all. I met with another contractor on 6/2014 that I paid $100.00 for his inspection from [redacted] that was highly recommended from other previous customers on [redacted] and he said the damages were so great that it wouldn’t make any sense to repair and that I would better off buying a new unit.

Sir Iam sorry but we canot provide you that info untill we see that you have invoice from other company that is oure policy again I do apologize in order for us to provide you indie for oure insurance thank,s have great days sir.

My reply August 27, 2014: What you say makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Repairs cannot be made on our refrigerator first until your insurance company has been notified and they send an adjuster to our home to inspect, otherwise they will not approve and we will be stuck holding the bill.

Today is September 4th and we still have not heard from Manjit, he just disappeared.Desired Settlement: Since our refrigerator was working fine before Mangit touched it except for the lack of cold, air we would like the unit to be replaced or repaired by an outside licensed and insured contractor of our choice. at US Appliances Services expense.
